Maldah is a historical town.

Maldah is a historical town. I came there to witness various historical places around the Ganges. Many time, local people as well as hotel staff dont know that this place has many historical locations and places. Things are easily available at comfortable price.

The city is a nice place to wander around but you'll have...

The city is a nice place to wander around but you'll have problem with bathrooms. I was there in 3-4 March 2023 and faced a major problem using washroom as all the washrooms have no door lock even in the institutions and colleges, guess somewhere there had been a washroom murder case, lol. Though you can see that all the hotel reviews have one problem that is stingy washroom smell. In the whole Malda town City you'll faced one major problem with the bathroom, otherwise nice place to stay at affordable prices. Don't book the hotels directly just book it via some app and i would refer do not trust Oyo rooms in this city, the staff and food are good but the other things are not tolerated.
