There is beach on one side & backwaters on the other side, very beautiful & peaceful. Saw dolphins from the property itself. Also saw sea gulls, eagles, pipers, cranes, crabs, tiger fish etc. It's great for nature lovers. The hosts are amazing & the food is homemade & great.

Very peaceful place, we were 4 of us + our dog and we enjoyed our stay at Arpita Farm. We loved to play Badminton and do some bicycling. Our dog was safe thanks to the boundaries all around the property. Will definitely come back.

Mr and Mrs. Acharekar are very gracious hosts. The rooms are well appointed, have a separate entrance, and a large veranda outside to chill. The rooms were very clean and had all the amenities to make your stay comfortable. Mrs. Acharekars cooking was hands down the highlight of the trip. From a variety of fish to vegetarian dishes. Both Mr and Mrs Acharekar love feeding people and showcasing the local cuisine. You can also hire bikes and the stay is very close to the beach. It is safe for solo travelers as well. Their place was home away from home. I recommend it to everyone who visits Tarkarli.

Near to Malvan Shindhu, Durga Fort and Malwa Beach, lots of staying places are available there and too much activities are there available in near to beach all are activities like we are going to pay like 1000 and will get it within that much and whatever we want to be to the separate activities, we can do as we wish he is the best place to be visiting here. I was 10 year to the beach into the Anant residency.

This is a town with rich history and independent culture visited mostly by tourists from Maharashtra. The best to arrive is by train to Kudal station and either by taxi or auto. The auto costs 700-900Rs.

One of the standout aspects of Malvan is the food, especially if you're a seafood lover. Local delicacies like Malvani fish thali, solkadhi, and spicy curries offer a burst of flavour you won’t forget. Many homestays and local eateries serve fresh, home-cooked meals that feel both comforting and delicious. Don’t miss visiting Sindhudurg Fort, which offers great historical insight and panoramic sea views. For adventure seekers, scuba diving and snorkelling near the fort are must-try activities — the marine life is surprisingly vibrant. Malvan still retains an old-world charm, making it ideal for those looking to unwind away from over-commercialised destinations. Roads are fairly well-connected, and locals are warm and helpful. Malvan is a very good tourist destination.

Malvan is a very good tourist destination. You can see here Malvan Market in Monday specially its very crowded. Sunday you can visit fish market for fresh fish. Also Rock garden Sun set & sun Rise both points are very good to see. Musical water fountain is a main attraction in Rock garden. If you like history you can visit Sindhudurg Fort who build by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Its located in Arabian sea & its taking two hours.

Ideal time to visit any coastal region of Maharashtra is between November to February when it is relatively cooler. Summers are harsh and humid plus there are power outages. otherwise it is a heaven for fish eaters, though you will get limited vegetarian options as well. Malvan also has beautiful beaches
