Everything about the property was great. Exceeded all expectations. The staffs were amazing, the rooms were spacious and every bit of the hotel was immaculate. The breakfast was scrumptious and always had a mix of Indian, continental, different fruits and nuts and a wide selection of tea and coffee. Most importantly, the owners were always around and the property was extremely well run and well maintained.

The view was wonderful, the owner was so nice he moved us to a better room, and that room was wonderful, we could see all the mountain, I fell in love with McLeod Ganj from that window. I deeply raccomend this place, was also the cleanest hotel I've found in India, with new bedsheets and hot water.

The vibe of the place is great. Dharamshala (20-30 mins) is a skyway ride away. There are multiple sights and attractions you can visit around the area like Bhagsu and Gallu waterfalls, Triund trek, Dharamkot, Mcledganj market for shopping, and many cafés around the place with a multitude of eating options (veg, vegan, non-veg, and a variety of cuisines as well). Depending on whether you're here for a short or long-term stay, there's always something to do.

Due to its location on the mountainous area, the weather in McLeod Ganj can be very unpredictable. Please prepare warm clothes beforehand. The view of Dhauladhar mountain range is superb. On the month of May, I was still able to see the snow-capped mountain.

I am am a practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism and as Mcleod Ganj is full of Tibetans and The Dalai Lama lives there, it was ideal for me. Several places where you can do mediation courses. Also you can learn Tibetan or learn about Tibetan culture. There is a Hindu holy water place nearby. Incredible mountains scenery. Great food. The blue cheese pizza at the Om Hotel is the best in India. Nick' Italian kitchen has all round great food.

Even after 3 visits still love walking through the town to Bhagsu waterfalls & all the little shops, temples & friendly people along the way. If a shop does not have what you want & a friend does they help you & them out. Lovely & friendly with No hard sell. The highlight is the Dalai Lama’s temple which is so beautiful & if you like food McLeod Ganj will leave you spoiled for choice. Even if it’s raining you will love this Gem

A bustling town with loads of charming shops and restaurants. The views are magnificent. It gets very congested on weekends. Plenty places of interest. Lots of Tibetan people and culture. Well worth a visit to escape the summer heat. You will need comfortable shoes as it involves a lot of walking up steep hills and stairs. Nicks Italian Kitchen serves good food at reasonable prices and the view from their terrace is awesome. A little gem is Lung Ta Japanese restaurant serving delicious vegetarian fare at good prices. Bring your umbrella as it can rain at a moment's notice
