Good location close to the main areas and with good restaurants arround. The staff is super friendly and they help you with everything you need. The room is comfortable and quite clean.

This place is so amazing, the pictures just don’t do it justice. The resort is newly renovated, with lavish gardens, nestled between the beach and the river. What truly made our stay outstanding is the staff. Absolutely everyone went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. That also included serving us breakfast either by the sea or by the river. On that note, chef is brilliant and the food is outstanding. If you’re looking for a serene place to enjoy the best of Indian hospitality, make sure to book this place. Thanks to everyone at the resort for making our stay so memorable!

We were one of the newly checked in guests after this property was newly and fully renovated. We enjoyed a brand new room with super comfortable bed and shower. The ac and all furniture were brand new. We also enjoyed their food and beverage cafe and bar which was functional all day. Wonderland is 5 min away from the beach and is super convinent. Sanman is the perfect host and creates an environment that makes you feel at home. Now i have a home in Goa :)

The bungalows themselves are really beautiful and very well designed. They have a real eco feel and blend in with the natural surroundings. The windows are designed so you can see out but people can’t see in so it feels really private but at one with nature at the same time. There was outside space with chairs at both the front and back of the bungalow where we had our breakfast each morning and had an option of sun/shade at all times of day. The bed was really comfy and there was a little attic space with an additional mattress / pillows, which we took out onto the hammock at night for stargazing. Great bathroom and very spacious and useful to have a fridge. What made it extra special was the people - Dhaval and Shahid were so helpful throughout our stay, organising taxis and excursions for us and even looking after my husband when he was ill. Communication was great, done via a WhatsApp group once we arrived in Goa, which were also invited to use to order our breakfast every morning! The food was amazing… we also had lunch and dinner there a couple of times which was also great. If we came back to mandrem we would definitely stay here again.

The place is amazing.. So calm and peaceful. I loved the interior design and every detail in my room. Super clean - cool. Staff was so helpful with anything I needed. Cafe has a stunning view, even though the menu is limited, I always found food I liked. Can’t wait to go back!

Where to start with Omkar resort… I was greeted by krish on arrival and offered a welcome drink to which a marvellous mint tea was delivered. My bags were taken to my beautiful room which reminded me of Santorini as does the whole property. Later that evening I was greeted by the Viks the owner who was the most hospitable guy I have come across. He explained the area well and gave me some great places to visit. After an evening exploring, I came back to change which I found difficult to leave again…The energy here, decor and positive quotes hanging on the wall with the extremely friendly staff. Time flew as I laid in the hammock in the garden area while the relaxing music played in the background. Omkar resort is a holiday in a holiday. Hidden away between the main road and beach, like a secret world of its own. Out of all places I have stayed whilst in Goa the Omkar resort is by far the place I can not wait to return to.

We were staying in the wooden cottages, which are smaller in size; if available, I would reckon everyone should book the rooms in the building, the room sizes in the building are more spacious. The room has a more deluxe feel compared to the wooden cottages. It was a straight walk from the room to the beach. It had a quiet garden space, and you were on the beach after walking from your room for a few seconds. Happening food shacks are just a few meters away. Taxi Stand and Arambol market are within 5 minutes of walking distance—a cost-effective experience. The resort staff were very helpful - Happy, Naik and others around. Wooden cottages looked outdated, but we were ok with that; others may not like it. AirCon / Hot Water and electricity was available for 24/7. PS - this review is only about the resort, not the restaurant and shack service.
