The beds were comfortable, the water was hot, the coffee was delicious! Everything needed to cook a little meal was provided, showers available at the big house.

The owner gave us an exceptional service. We arrived late at night in the winter, and he was kind enough not only to prepare delicious meals at that time, but also to share stories about Iceland, with special focus on the Westfjords. I stayed for over 10 days in Iceland, and it was the most informative, deep and interesting conversation I had with a local about his country (we covered history, geography, politics, socioeconomics, among many others). There was also a gorgeous library and beautiful maps that showed detailed information not available in Google Maps. I will definitely go back to this place next time I am in the Westfjords.

Loved the location! The staff was exceedingly patient and helpful despite how crowded the hotel was due to everyone being there for the eclipse. The premises were cleaned on a regular basis, and shared bathrooms were clean. Great food at the restaurant, and the staff was very helpful and served us dinner even after hours.

Great hospitality. Amazing host. She was so helpful and amazing view.
