The owner gave us an exceptional service. We arrived late at night in the winter, and he was kind enough not only to prepare delicious meals at that time, but also to share stories about Iceland, with special focus on the Westfjords. I stayed for over 10 days in Iceland, and it was the most informative, deep and interesting conversation I had with a local about his country (we covered history, geography, politics, socioeconomics, among many others). There was also a gorgeous library and beautiful maps that showed detailed information not available in Google Maps. I will definitely go back to this place next time I am in the Westfjords.

A really gorgeous cosy place. Authentic and once a real home. It was my favorite guesthouse in Iceland. It has lots of character and not like the new ones.

Beautifully decorated main areas and rooms were nice and cozy. Showers were hot! Breakfast had a very good selection to choose from. Also lots of spots to hike in the area. It was our honeymoon and we felt very happy with this stay!

The rural setting was perfect for us; we loved being on a working farm. The home was warm and inviting! We arrived when other guests were making their dinners in the full kitchen. Beautiful and very cozy accommodation. They even provide bathrobes. The views are fantastic and the comfy armchairs invite to linger. Very quiet and peaceful. We would have liked to have stayed a bit longer to go on walks and explore the valley. Very good restaurant on site where we booked a delicious dinner and had a good breakfast. The staff was very friendly.
