The location was just beautiful. The birds on the river were fun to watch. The hot tub was great. The sauna was wonderful.

We found this on a whim because we had gone to the wrong guesthouse so we had to find somewhere else to stay. We were pleasantly surprised! When we pulled up we thought we were at a school until we saw the hotel sign. It ended up being super cool that it was an old school. They had the cafeteria, which is now the dining area and there’s even a gymnasium. The rooms are down what would be normal classroom hallways. We got a room with our own bathroom but you can get a room with no bath cheaper but you share shower and bath like you would in college. The staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating! We ate dinner there, which was fantastic. Breakfast the next morning was good as well. They did our laundry for a fee and had it ready the next morning. They even came and knocked on our door to let us all know that the northern lights were out. Our driving error ended up being and pleasant surprise.

This house is just amazing if you wanna have private place in nice nature with everything you need. The kitchen is fully staffed and with main ingredients you could need for cooking. Living room so comfortable and bedrooms are so spacious and cute. We were in such private that we didn’t have to put down the curtains to watch if there will be northern lights. And the hot tub is soo amazing.

We booked at the very last moment after deciding the nearby property our travel agency had booked was just not adequate. We booked while sitting in the car and actually arrived at the hotel before the booking. The host (Einar, thanks) was very welcoming and we were pleased to find such a clean comfortable place. A room with a sea view and good breakfast were very welcome. Einar was a wealth of information and suggestions for the local and not so local area (best routes, restaurants, thermal springs). All in all, a very good decision to change our plans.

We LOVED everything. The host, the house, the coziness, the position in front of the ocean, we could see an amazing show of northern nights. Olga, the host, is incredibly kind and nice; we had a last minute change of plans because of the weather and our northern lights chase and despite of the very short notice of our request she was so flexible and accommodating. The house is amazingly decorated, you really feel like home and honestly if we wouldn’t have had so less time during our trip, we would have loved to relax there some more days. Absolutely recommended!! 🩷
