A very charming Tenuta in Alezio, close to Gallipoli. The whole area is very spacious and consists of the main house, a couple of Trullis with additional rooms and a large swimming pool right in the middle of the area. The rooms are clean and very nice, stuff is very friendly and breakfast is exceptional. Highly recommended.

The staff was excellent, very helpful and always in touch. They suggested several places to visit and were very friendly. The place is very calm, there are just few rooms , so we were almost always alone by the pool, so that was amazing. Breakfast was very nice and even if we were a bit late for it, Michela waited for us anyways and offered to have it.

Alezio is a small village with not much to see, but as a destination for further trips to Galipoli, Otranto, Leuca or Lecca it is ideal, everywhere is within 1 hour by car. The beautiful beach at Galipoli is 10 minutes by car!

A very well-kept town, with many of the buildings' facades...

A very well-kept town, with many of the buildings' facades painted in very picturesque pastel colors. A lovely festival, the Feast of the Assumption, takes place during the week of Ferragosto. An excellent base for exploring the entire Salento region.

Alezio is an average town with very friendly people.

Alezio is an average town with very friendly people. Hospitality is limited to a few restaurants and a few cafés. If you're looking for authentic Italian daily life, you'll find it here. If you're looking for entertainment in a romantic setting, Alezio will fall short.

A very cute, small village with the right amenities.

A very cute, small village with the right amenities. It's very close to the sea, just 5 km away, perfect for those who don't want to stay in the chaos of Gallipoli. I highly recommend the Lucia pastry shop, excellent quality. The daily snack was a must-try. The sea is stunning, and the Baia Verde beach is the closest, with its own parking lot. Good amenities.
