This hotel is a little gem. We picked it up blindly, and stayed for 2 (not consecutive) nights - and we were far from disappointed: super clean, comfortable rooms, polite and helpful staff (btw - our hosts speak very good English, which was completely different from our recent experience in Sicily - to our surprise @a large & expensive hotel), reserved parking spot, excellent breakfast. This is the first “10” rating that I gave on Booking, and please believe me I am a very picky guest. :)

Excellent staff who went out of their way to help (especially Damano(?) the manager was so helpful). Breakfast was amazing value and quality and again very friendly, helpful staff (2 ladies). Location excellent for ferry but a good 20 mins walk into town.

I must confess that I have never been in a hotel before with such a personal, detailed, friendly and careful attendance. Valentina is such an amazing person who made our stay in Brindisi unforgettable. The hotel is perfect, right at the port which is very convenient if you take the ferry and close to the city too. If you like exploring a city by walking, it's an excellent...

If you like exploring a city by walking, it's an excellent choice for you. You are within 10-15 minutes walk to most sites of interest in Brindisi if you stay in the historical centre. And it's a good base to use for visiting the surrounding area..Lecce, Oria, Otranto, etc. I especially enjoyed walks around the harbour and taking a ferry across to the Monument to the Sailor, having a coffee & pastry at Valentino Café just behind the monument.

This is a small town with a lot of history.

This is a small town with a lot of history. The walk from the train station to the waterfront takes about 20 minutes and is very easy. At the waterfront, there are a ton of restaurants. There were no ticky tacky shops that we saw but there are peddlers who are allowed to come into the restaurants to sell their trinkets. We were almost in the off season so it seemed pretty quiet but the views of the Adriatic Sea are amazing.

The harbour area was beautiful.

The harbour area was beautiful. There are lots of shopping areas but unfortunately they close for a good part of the afternoon. There are a lot of restaurants but it would be a good idea to check them out before you arrive as the menus vary quite a bit.

We chose October to avoid the crowds.

We chose October to avoid the crowds. It was very pleasant and quiet not very touristy. It’s easy to get around on foot to many eateries and transport via train and buses to other locations. I did not find the local beach very interesting/ attractive and for that reason I would not return for a longer stay. Not much of interest for younger travellers. No parks within walking distance. Ideal for short stay 2-4 days. No car needed around the town but to access beaches you do need it. Parking is a definite problem.

Laid back seaside town.

Laid back seaside town. Cafe Mada near the station serves beautiful baked snacks (peanut free) and quality coffee at good prices. The Appian Way columns were an impressive sight. We missed out on walking along the main promenade which looks a nice thing to do.

Brindisi is a good place to stay.

Brindisi is a good place to stay. There is a good selection of bars and restaurants and the waterside is very pleasant. It is an ideal base to explore Puglia as the transport links are good. The rail service to (for example) Lecce, Polignano a Mare is cheap, clean and comfortable.

We liked that it was contained so perfect for an active toddler. There was a large comfortable bed and the washing machine was very useful and appreciated! The pool was very nice on a hot day. Also, we were welcomed and the host kept in contact with us throughout our stay. The beaches around were gorgeous and there is a farm shop close by which sells lots of fresh essentials.

Wonderful location, minutes from Seaty Beach, metres from a lovely cafe/restaurant, lovely room with everything you need, loved the pastries made by owner/baker Lucia, who also gave great recommendations for where to dine. Lots of free parking, extremely safe and secure. Bus stop 4/5 seconds from front door.

We were in Italy for 10 days. In this appartment the beds were the most confortable of all rooms we had visited. We had the most pleasant sleep. It's not for staying in the room the whole day, you will obviously choose this room either for business purposes or for visiting the surroundings of Brindisi.
