Our stay was very convenient to access the Basilica of St Rita being in the main square. Our room was spacious, bed was comfortable with super comfy pillows. Bathroom facilities were well appointed and staff were very helpful. Having car park access was an advantage and being able to unload our luggage at the front door was very helpful. The gift shop next door is very well stocked and has the most fantastic staff who are always willing to help and advise on any of the religious items available in their store. Access to the Basilica may require you to walk up a few stairs but is totally worth the walk.

The accommodation is very well located, right at the bottom of the stairs to the Basilica Santa Rita in Cascia and directly facing the bus stop in Cascia, which makes it very convenient for people coming by bus. The staff were very kind and even allowed me to check-in early. The room was clean and spacious, and the breakfast offered a great variety. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Cascia.

We stayed in Room 411, which was very spacious and impeccably clean. The view of the countryside and the Basilica of St. Rita was absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is also conveniently located within a short walking distance to the center of Cascia and close to the bus terminal for trips to Roccaporena.

This town is geared around pilgrims to visit the sites associated with St. Rita. If you are not coming for that reason then there is little for you and it is far less pretty than neighbouring towns in Umbria.

If you're religious and want to see Cascia and St Rita's...

If you're religious and want to see Cascia and St Rita's birthplace nearby then come or if interested in art history and St Rita's basilica and monastery next door. If driving it's a nice way to pass a morning or afternoon. Not much else to keep you there but scenery roundabout is stunning! We took a taxi organized by hotel and spent an hour or two around her birthplace village -magical views and you can climb up hill to mountain top church!

If you are into meditation, make sure you visit Santa Rita's...

If you are into meditation, make sure you visit Santa Rita's cathedral and meditate in front of her grave inside the cathedral. The silence and tranquility you find in Cascia is just what you need. You will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Agriturismo La Commenda. The accommodation was cozy and comfortable, and the location is perfect—just a short walk to Cascia and a quick drive to everything else in the area. Breakfast was a real highlight, especially the freshly baked cakes by Morena, which were absolutely delicious and very much appreciated. A lovely, peaceful place to stay with a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Right beside the Basilica de Cascia and hosts gave us a free parking badge to park at the main street (winter time). Hosts are very attentive. Experience of staying at an antique building . Just be aware of the stairs to reach the palazzo, and also, the bb is on the 3rd floor.

This hotel is very centrally located. Nice parking and good breakfast. The bed was comfortable and soft. The room also came with a nice balcony where you can sit and watch the mountains around. The cathedral is very near. Say hello to Santa Rita. The staff were very helpful.

I really loved LucyBen Guest House. It is a very clean, cosy, comfortable and charming accommodation. Location wise, very easy to come and go from around Cascia. Everything was made with care, attending very well our tight schedule in Cascia.
