Mini Hotel Peperoncino Palace, Pascaraymondo Suite Palace, and Grand Hotel Costa Brada got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Gallipoli.
The centre is lovely but the city is terribly organised. There is a big parking at the port which is the most convenient but in certain time frames it is impossible to find a spot, nobody there to manage the place and the cars are parked in compete anarchy. In theory the machines for payment accept cards but none of them really do so you can only pay with coins. The parking lots further to the centre are even more expensive. We tried a restaurant which looked nice but the food was really mediocre. The beach was very dirty. I will not go back.
The lovely costal walk, tour of Gallipoli Castle, walk through the back streets and lovely restaurants - great choice of fish restaurants. Easy place to navigate and nearby train station to reach Lecce and Ostuni - my main stay base. Ideally should stay for 2 nights and not one like I did.
The région of Gallipoli could be nice as there are beautiful sceneries and old towns but the whole area is incredibly dirty, garbage all over, on the side of the roads, in towns, everywhere. I had never seen such images in the civilized Europe. It’s such a shame!
Gallipoli is a nice little Pugliese town, even if some people named it "tourist trap" on internet. It is nice to wander of the streets in centro storico, to visit the churches, and to adnire the sunsets. Corso Roma (only place where I walked in the modern town) is clean, and full of restaurants, coffee shops, terraces. It has two little parks, where you can rest. Martinucci has the best ice-cream and a heavenly tiramisu! I recommend to go and visit Nardo, very near Gallipoli. It costs only 1.40 euro/one way/person by train, and you will see an unspoiled centro storico, no tourists, very cozy.
Gallipoli was a pleasant surprise with excellent shops, restaurants and a gorgeous old town centre. The beaches are magnificent. Stroll down for a leisurely swim and then afterwards relax at a beach side restaurant/bar with a beer or wine and plate of seafood and watch the sunset.
Gallipoli is nice but it's a bit out of the way in terms of other attractions. Better off spending more time in places like Monopoli where you have so many other city attractions in close proximity.
Gallipoli
From the moment I arrived, my expectations were exceeded in all of the best possible ways. The B&B itself truly is luxurious, from the 6-jet waterfall shower with ambient lighting to the common area furnishings, background music, and relaxing patio. But it was Antonio's hospitality and connections, the exceptional breakfast, and helpful staff that really made my 4-night stay a 10/10. The location is close enough to walk to the Gallipoli Centro Storico and transportation to the beach was convenient. I will definitely be back!
Gallipoli
This place was fantastic. We'd stay here again if we ever return! Really lovely! The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. In lieu of a buffet, they had breakfast options to order - everything was delicious. Location is great for the value and in the shoulder season there was plenty of street parking. The bed was hands down the most comfortable we stayed in during our two weeks in Italy. The room was basically brand new and very spacious with a kitchenette. Many beaches within a short drive.
Gallipoli
If Gallipoli is the pearl of Salento, then Palazzo Presta is the pearl of Gallipoli. A stay in this accommodation is a wonderful experience from beginning to end. You can immediately see that clever minds have thought about every detail. Art and aesthetics mixed with travel relics, let the guest participate in a magical world. All the staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful and responsive to every request. The bar and food are of the highest quality. We highly recommend everyone to visit this hotel.
Gallipoli
The hotel has excellent location in the historical center of Gallipoli, the staff is very helpful and kind (we arrived in the morning, much earlier than the check in time but they accommodated us within 20 minutes), there are beautiful terraces - in front of the rooms and also the roof terrace where breakfast is served and where one can watch the sunset. The rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Gallipoli
Right in the heart of Gallipoli - this is a great location to stay. I had a spacious split level room. Staff were super friendly at check in and at breakfast. There was variety with the breakfast offered with different options on both mornings i stayed. It is an easy 5 min walk from the parking by the port which is convenient. Highly recommend for people staying 1 or 2 nights in Gallipoli.
Gallipoli
The host, Nadia, and owner, Margot, are the best people in the world. Everything else is just fantastic. Great location. Great value. Great place. Perfectly run. Make sure to book a ride on the boat. The highlight of our two week honeymoon in Italy.
Gallipoli
Everything was excellent. The location, amenities and cleanliness of the property exceeded our expectations. Our host Ugo was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was by far the best we have ever has in Puglia! We will definitely be back!
Gallipoli
Excellent room, large and well equipped, very good breakfast with good choice, very fresh and good bread/croissant and great coffee. Nicely set out an very professional, friendly and courteous service. comfortable bed
Central location just before old town, on the main shopping street. Very nice terrace for breakfast with view. Free parking at the back of the hotel. Friendly staff.
It was very well situated within Gallipoli. The room was also the perfect size for all our belongings without sacrificing personal space.

Gallipoli
This is a B&B behaving like a boutique 5* hotel. Karla was a commensurate host - we will be back.
This hotel is unique, The breakfast was tasty and with and amazing sea view. 6 stars, thank you
loved the location in the old center of Gallipoli with the view over the bay
The hotel is run by a very caring family and the breakfast was very tasty.
Position of Hotel. The city. And the sea..
The long sand dunes, pine forest, sand beach and the turkish - blue-green sea are marvellas with the view on Gallipolis. The hotel in general is okey, breakfast is good and served under the pine forest, lovely. Beachfront hotel is okey and we can recommend it, mainly due to the nice beach, the hotel is okey for the price.
The staff at the hotel was above-and-beyond helpful and friendly. Our room was absolutely beautiful, and we had a view of the ocean and stunning sunsets. We enjoyed the bar and the spa, and really enjoyed being able to walk to the downtown area.
