The hotel is beautifully nested within alps of Colico and the shores of Lake Como with an amazing beach side. If you are looking for a romantic get away location, this is the spot for you and thank me later. The WiFi connection reach is the strongest I have seen. It's still a wonder how the hotel is able to get its wifi connection to reach the beach side (This is a bonus). All other hotels I have been to, the wifi reach only works inside the hotel and perhaps the lobby and a few inches just outside the front of the hotel. For seven parks, be ready to discover the powerful reach of their wifi connection with covers up to the shoreline of the beach The staff do their best to make every guest feel welcomed and comfortable. The breakfast was awesome with so many options to pick from. You would love the breakfast here guaranteed 100% The restaurant and bar at the pool area also offers some great options to eat. Though could be a little crowed at weekends due to so many people visiting the beach and also taking advantage of the restaurant and bar for their meals The hotel boast of two pools, the bigger one open to walk in guest and inhouse guests.. There is another smaller sized private pool exclusive to in house guests only for those who would love to enjoy some little more privacy. The rooms are clean, we stayed at the beach view room with an amazing view of the alps and the lake como The hotel also offers a spa at a little bit extra price. Treat yourself to this luxury Spa because you've work so hard to get here and you deserve it as well. There a lot of fun activities at the beach you can take part in. If you want to swim the beautiful Lake Como, please go for it... If you just want to sunbath, this is the perfect spot for you... If you wanna plan a picnic, here is the place to enjoy it. If you are a fan of surfing, you will love it here

tbh i did not do much at Gazerno.

tbh i did not do much at Gazerno. Our main interest was the lake, but I enjoyed the views thoroughly. This does not mean by any means that there are no things to do there, we just staied only for 24 hours and spent all our time "downstairs" at the lake.

Garzeno is a bigger village with various facilities,...

Garzeno is a bigger village with various facilities, including a couple of restaurants. But B&B Zia Maria is 200 metres below, in the hamlet of Calasco, where there is nothing except the attached bar and a basic general stores. So for hikers on the Monti Lariani trail, this is a good pit-stop, bearing in mind that there are no restaurants in Calasco (but a pizza can be ordered from 'da Jean' in Garzeno, and you can cook yourself something basic in the breakfast room) and that, although the Monti Lariani trail goes through the hamlet, there is no waymarking, so you'll need to use apps.
