Beautiful, quiet and serene location in Sila national park, the drive through the woods to Lorica is a highlight in itself (stop at la locomotiva for a great panino). Exceptionally clean and spacious room with a beautiful view of the lake. Very friendly staff, well equipped coffee and tea station in the hallway. We passed through the Lorica on our way from Crotone to Pizzo and highly recommend spending a night here.

The staff were extremely hospitable and welcoming. Although they did not speak English, they were always patient and willing to use translation apps to communicate and help with any questions or requests. Their kindness and dedication made my stay very pleasant.

The hotel is absolutely stunning. The rooms and lounges have a classic, aesthetic decor. There is also a lovely spot with a fireplace which was a highlight of the evening to spend some time relaxing in front of it with a glass of wine. Our room had a balcony overlooking the forest and a lovely winter ambience. It is a perfect place for someone looking to escape to a peaceful, cozy environment, surrounded by nature. The location is also very convenient, close to the town centre and also a ski resort. The hotel staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. They were ready to answer any queries and went above and beyond to provide a pleasant experience. We arrived at the hotel quite late and were hungry. The hotel kitchen was already closed but the owners offered to prepare a meat and cheese board so we could have something to eat. They are very approachable and happy to listen to any feedback the guests have. Antonello, who was at the bar at a time, kept us company in the evening, recommended some great wine, kept the fireplace running and we had a great chat. Overall, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at and will definitely be going back. And I loved the pistachio croissants at breakfast!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is well appointed with high quality fittings. The views from our rooms were great. It is located about 7kms from the main town so is relaxed and peaceful and has a garden to sit and enjoy the views. The bathroom had a spa bath although we did not use it. In the ski season I consider this would be a great spot to relax after a long day in the snow.
