We really enjoyed the breakfast, the bed was comfortable, the shower was great, and the air conditioning in the room was amazing after the hot summer days in Venice. The location is good if you want a quieter area - around a 10 minute walk from the water bus station and it had several cafes, restaurants and grocery stores within easy walking distance.

We have been coming to Venice for the past 20 years but this is the first time we stayed on Lido. The Hotel Biasutti was EXACTLY what we had been hoping to find -- historic charm in a quiet neighborhood. The breakfast area was busy, but there was always a table available. The best thing about the hotel is its staff -- who went out of their way to make our stay special -- from the front desk staff who helped with dinner reservations to the managers to the breakfast staff -- everyone was the best. We will definately be back.

Wonderful location! Quiet street in easy walking distance from ferry. Off of the main stretch but close to all the good restaurants. Very clean and well kept. Elegant but understated room and grounds. Room was small but had a wonderful balacony. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! We loved the free bikes, though they needed a bit of maintenance. Excellent recommendation for the bike path from the front desk.

Spanning 11 kilometres between the Adriatic Sea and one of the most famous lagoons in the world, Lido is a narrow and long island located just in front of Venice’s Old Town. Beach resorts, hotels and private villas replaced the vegetable gardens 160 years ago that provided tranquil settings for poets and writers like Lord Byron and Thomas Mann.
Probably one of the first beach resorts in the world, its first facility opened in 1857 and soon became a success. Nowadays, it constitutes a peaceful suburb that claims its golden past once a year during the Film Festival, and offers a quieter setting for your accommodation than central Venice.
There are actually three different villages on the island. Lido itself is located in the north, and includes most of the hotels and the Venice Casino. The smaller Malamocco and Alberoni are situated to the centre and south respectively. The sea-facing side of Lido Island is a succession of sandy beaches, mostly belonging to different resorts and hotels.
Gran Viale Santa Maria Elisabetta is the island’s main street, leading from the ‘vaporetto’ water bus pier to the sea. There are buses running on the island, while direct waterbus links to Venice Marco Polo Airport are also available.

Great place to rest after crowded Venice streets.
Great place to rest after crowded Venice streets. Almost empty breathtakingly beautiful beaches (we used private ones), quiet streets in just couple of stops on vaporetto from Sant Marco.
It's a really good way to explore the Venice: wake up early, go for a walk in empty streets and then take a cabin on the beach to escape the crowds and the heat.

I traveled by train into Venice, straight off and onto the water bus or water taxi to Lido, very easy to navigate. A lovely way to get to any destination.
My hotel was right across from the water bus terminal.
Eating out is easy on Lido, lots of restaurants, some cater for children with outside play areas for their enjoyment (and yours). A few restaurants catered to Coeliac requirements, those that did, excelled...
I think I walked on average 8-10kms every day on Lido, so much to see and most of it along the coast. Easy access to the other islands from the terminal as well. The views from any direction on Lido Island are beautiful.

Lido is a great place to base yourself from if you want to visit Venice. It offers easy access to the city and the nearby islands (Murano, Burano, etc.), but it is relaxed and quiet compared to the overly-touristed Venice, so it's lovely to come back to Lido after a hectic day of tourist activities. We didn't take advantage of the beach, but we could have if we had built in more time.

Lido was recommended to me by a friend who goes every year.
Lido was recommended to me by a friend who goes every year. She'd stayed in lots of areas. Great choice ! The island was quieter, cleaner, cheaper and not so busy. It was lovely to walk around, trees, flora and fauna, churches , lots of shops and restaurants. Short stroll to a beautiful beach. Amazing sunsets, with all those views. Picture perfect. We used a three day vaporetta pass to get around. We were two stops away from main part of Venice, where we got off to explore. Four stops to San Marco, quick and easy. Longer trips to Murano, which was worth a visit...free to get into the glass factory on a Wednesday and the airport was a 45 minute ride, but easily done.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The space was quaint and perfectly located away from the crazy busy hub that is Venice. It was a 5 minute walk to the laundromat, where you could have a drink nearby at a bar while you waited. Another 5 minute walk and you were at the beach. Lots of eateries, shops, bars and way less people.
If you want to visit Venice then Lido is best to stay. Lido is a small Island just minutes away from Venice. It is peaceful and beautiful. Viktoria Palace hotel is on the best site of Lido. On the map it seems a little far from center and that is what we were thinking but in fact it is on best location. You can move around on foot, on bus or on bicycles. Beach is just some steps away.
Location is amazing. The hotel is situated on Lido island. One side of the hotel looks at Venice lagoon, the other one - at Adriatic Sea. Private boats are delivering the guests from the hotel to the center of Venice (San Marco) and back, so you can relax at the beach during day and visit Venice in the evening.
The service was incredible and friendly, the hotel was 3 minutes walk from the beach and it was incredible value for money! I would definitely stay here again, my late checkin was handled with ease with them leaving my keys for me.
Fantastic value for money. Only stayed one night but staff were lovely, breakfast was included in the price and it was one of the best I’ve had in Venetian hotels
