Hotel in Venice-Lido
Hotel Riviera Venezia Lido is housed in a historic palace and features a panoramic, strategic location in front of the lagoon and the waterbus stop, within quick reach of Venice’s historic center. The location and staff was amazing! I was treated like a queen. My journey to get there from Canada was a nine hour flight to Rome, followed by a few very hectic days there, followed by approx a five hour train ride, followed by approx an hour water bus, with a few other stressful travelling mishaps on the way. I arrived looking quite disheveled (a generous word). The place is elegant and sophisticated and so is the staff, yet unless they had great poker faces, they treated me like royalty and that meant so much to me at the time. They were very very helpful before and during my arrival, answering all questions and responding to all my requests or needs on an immediate basis and never once did they make me feel less than. THANKYOU

Simple waterbus ride from Central Venice but a world away. Tranquil with enough dining choices. Lovely coastline and felt like coming home . Water busses run all the time so don't miss out on anything either. Lovely to have a swim at the end of a hot day
We love staying on Lido when visiting Venice. It requires using vaporettos to visit other areas but these are very convenient and easy to use. Lido itself has nice beaches, restaurants, and grocery stores. It's nice to be in a less busy area and look over at St Mark's Square as well as to observe all the boat traffic.
We enjoyed the beautiful room and decor of the wonderful Italian hotel. Our room opened to a balcony. The area was quiet and restful. The breakfast was very good. The staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful!
The best place to stay while in Venice even if you only have two days. Only short trip away on the boat about 20 minutes and 10 minutes walk passing nice cafes while on lido. Also the hotel la meridians very stylish located close to the long sandy beach with plenty of shells to pick, just perfect
Less busy and hectic than Venice it is an ideal base from which to visit and explore Venice. The locals are friendly and there are plenty of restaurants and bars, also supermarkets for anyone self-catering, so all you need for a great stay.
Venice Lido made our visit to Venice extra special because it’s a much quieter location than the center of Venice. The distance from the crowds made our stay in the area much more relaxing, while at the same time the vaperetto system allows for quick trips all around the area and to the center of Venice. Venice Lido is quiet, but there is still a lot of restaurants and it really quaint area with canals just like in Venice. I highly recommend Venice Lido
The location is ok, there are several bars and shops near to the hotel, and You can reach the beach (not the real public one) in two minutes from it. It has private parking area, wich is a little bit small, but it's ok. The cleanliness is pretty good, they cleaned the room every day. There is an air conditioner, and a fridge in the room, wich are really useful. The breakfast was, let's say ok, for a two star hotel, maybe it's enough, I don't know. The staff was very friendly, and the managers are really helpful!
The Hotel was perfectly situated for our love of the Lido, a short stroll to the beach, also very handy for access to the attractions of the City and Islands. Although our room was rather small and compact we had a lovely bonus…a large balcony with table and chairs! a fabulous place to chill out. We ventured to the very top of the Villa, wow what a view, amazing. Adequate continental breakfast, rooms very clean, staff very friendly and helpful.
The room was spacious. The shower excellent. The breakfast very good, except for the very slow tea/coffee machine which caused long queues. It was a good base, despite being outside the main town because of the exceptionally good frequent bus service which left from virtually outside the hotel throughout the day and night. It was an easy walk to the coastal walk and deserted beaches.
the hotel is beautiful with lots of charm and vintage features, for someone who likes arts and culture it's an absolute wonder. the rooms are peaceful and looking out on to the courtyard is very relaxing, with a quick 5 minute walk to the beach. the staff are helpful and welcoming and the breakfast is amazing, highly recommended!
This is not a 5 start hotel in terms of the service received despite charging 5-star prices. All in it was a very disappointing experience. The spa and pool were however excellent with attentive and well trained staff. It is only a short walk to the ferry on Lido so a good location.
The location is very nice and close to beach, shops and bus stops. The hotel is big and the staff are friendly and speak both Italian and English. On arrival they gave us a map and showed us best places to go. Breakfast available was OK not a lot of choice but was fresh.
Location is quite close to the boat pier, which is very convenient to visit the rest of Venice. Its on a beautiful quiet residential street. The hotel has a family feel with some traditional furniture and friendly, helpful staff. A really delightful place to stay.
Just an easy walk to the restaurants and also to the vaporetto station. The bus stops in fromnt of the hotel. Going down to the beach is just a heartbeat, it's just opposite the entrance. Marvelous!!! The room is very cosy and clened every single day.
A wonderful old world feel to this hotel! Clean and comfortable with great staff. Good buffet style breakfast with several options from fruit and yogurt to pastries and cereal Easy walk from the waterbus station and convenient to the beach.
The location was sublime, visiting the center of Venice was easy with the boat busses across our hotel. Lido is quiet and peaceful and allowed us to have a great night's rest before visiting the busy streets of Venice.
The hotel close to the central water-bus station, stuff was great, property is clean, meeting morning on the balcony of the room was beautiful and peace, you can find a lot of restaurant and shops around the hotel.
Atmospheric, prestigious hotel with wide, safe and clean private beach. Generally polite, courteous and helpful staff. The hotel's private free boat shuttle to San Marco is very quick and convenient.
Beautiful, small, cosy hotel by the beach with really nice staff, especially at the reception. A bit far, but very well connected with all nights vaporetto and Lido buses.
Nice simple hotel, great location in Lido, friendly staff. Really enjoyed the spa at our bathroom.
Comfortable room and polite hotel staff. Nice cleaning team also!
very cute hotel, very clean and super friendly staff!
very pretty hotel
