Although it's connected with all the ski lifts in the Madonna di Campiglio ski resort, it's hard to get out of Marilleva in the morning (unless you get up really early) because there are always huge lines on several key ski lifts. Same thing in the afternoon - there's a long line to get back to Marilleva, so you basically spend half a day either waiting or trying to avoid the lines. There's no all-day ski school for children - they only offer three hours a day and no lunch. Given how difficult it is to get out of Marilleva because of the crowds, we had to give up on the school altogether and ended up skiing with the kids all day. The slopes in Marilleva itself are too few and way too crowded, lots of schools and students all over the place so you have to be really careful and go slow. Be careful when deciding on whether to get insurance with your ski passes (even if you already have travel insurance); if anything happens, you won't be able to get a refund for days unused unless you buy their insurance. My son broke a collar bone - no refund. Keep in mind that the one pharmacy is not open on weekends and other pharmacies that are supposedly on duty are also unreliable - we travelled several kilometres on two separate occasions to get to a pharmacy that was supposed to be open, and both times they were closed. The bars/restaurants will sometimes run out of food by 2pm and you'll be stuck with the worst food choices. There is only one store, poorly stocked and way overpriced. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Marilleva to anyone. Go to Madonna de Campiglio, it's well worth the difference in the price.
The slopes are fabulous and a great selection available between Marilleva & Folgarida (included in ski pass). There is also possibility to ski or drive to Madonna di Campiglio for an even vaster range of slopes for adults and children alike. Professional ski schools also available and apres ski entertainment at hotel including warm pool and disco.

Nothing. The place was messy (common spaces not cleaned even once over 7 days, trash lying around etc.) and loud (cardboard walls, loud music/karaoke every night till the small hours), the restaurant overcharged (and played dumb about it), the hotel staff was unfriendly and aggressive when you asked them to do something like clean the common spaces... The most terrible accommodation I've experienced so far.

The apartment was very nice and clean and even too big for the two of us. It can host up to 7 people I believe. The residence Albare has plenty of facilities: laundry, minimarket, common area and upon a fee it's also possible to make use of the swimming pool and tennis field. The landscape and the area are beautiful and you can do outdoor activities such as hiking, mushrooms hunting, MTB, rafting or just enjoying the scenery :-)

The slopes passed near the appartment and we shouldn’t go by ski bus or car to ski slopes. The appartment was warm and cosy enough.
