Relais Ciavatta is a characteristic family-owned Tuscan residence surrounded by olive groves and century-old oaks, located 2625 ft from Montemerano and 3.1 mi from Terme di Saturnia and the Cascate... Poggio Bertino is a comfortable family-run country hotel nestled between the medieval villages of Montemerano and Saturnia. The establishment is only 1.2 mi from the thermal resort of Saturnia itself.... The host, Maurizio, is very friendly and nice. His breakfast was all home made and delicious - bread, fresh ricotta, figs and jam. The hotel is perfect for early morning visit to Cascate del Mulino in Saturnia.
Set in Montemerano, Mastro Titta Pizza Eat & Sleep offers 3-star accommodations with a bar, a garden and a terrace. The hotel was 8-10 mins away (by car) from the Terme de Saturnia. The check-in was very easy and the staff was friendly ☺️. Breakfast was ok. Good value for money.
Located 3.1 mi from the Saturnia Thermal Baths, Agriturismo Il Capannone is surrounded by a large garden furnished with tables and chairs. The property was beautiful! There were horses, dogs, and cats roaming around. There were vegetables growing in the garden. The room was clean and spacious. There’s a swimming pool that was also very nice.
Set in the Tuscan countryside, B&B La Piaggia is in Montemerano. It offers a garden, a sweet daily breakfast and classically-furnished accommodations. Very nice place, lovely homemade breakfast & the owners are just the sweetest! They don’t speak English but they really made so much effort to help! Would definitely stay here again, the location is perfect too & super close to the hot springs.
Set between Montemerano and Scansano, Da Pino features accommodations with free WiFi and a garden. An Italian breakfast is served daily at the property. The country house offers a terrace. The place is a charming house overlooking the hills, with a beautiful shaded garden, complete with a dinner table. The room and the bathroom were spotless and there were enough towels and linen for 12 men The dogs were a plus for me personally and even if you are not a fan, they will be fine. The hostess went above and beyond and I will cherish the time I spent in Da Pino.
Located in Montemerano, 3.1 mi from the Saturnia thermal center, the Agriturismo Poggio del Drago is set in a relaxing garden in the Tuscan hills. Letizia is very welcoming and friendly. The room is located at their wineyard, we could try her own wine and oil and also buy it! We bought 2 big packages. Loved the view and the calmness up there.
Agriturismo Podere S. Croce is set in Montemerano, 3.1 mi from the Terme di Saturnia. It offers a large garden with swimming pool. The restaurant with open fireplace serves local cuisine. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Great Staff. Beatifull and quite place to relax with beloved one away from city.
The medieval village of Montemerano is an idyllic location to spend a few days with my daughter. My eleven-year-old was very happy to go out and about with her friends, who were staying near our accommodation. Everybody in the village was genuinely friendly and helpful, and life seemed to unroll at a more relaxed pace. Montemerano itself is an excellently preserved example of Italian medieval architecture, ideally set in the hilly Tuscan landscape. We really enjoyed our stay, and wished it could last longer...
Peaceful and beautiful medieval borgo. The local pizzeria served excellent pici (local pasta) and vino with a very welcoming service. They have a lovely terrace overlooking stunning Tuscan countryside where you can enjoy your meal. Would definitely go back.
Viola was an amazing hostess. We had issues communicating in English. She doesn't speak French or English but we used our books...hihihi clean, we had fruits from the trees. The Thermes natural water are so close. Wonderful experience. Lucie et Daniel
At the southern end of Tuscany, This small walled village Is a must see and needs only a half day visit. As it is not so well known, there are few tourists around and it is easy to feel you are the only person there! If you are staying somewhere in the district with self catering, there is a supermarket outside the village walls on the main road in to Montemerano, near the pharmacy. The hot springs and waterfalls between Montemerano and Saturnia are a worthwhile half day visit. Entrance is free, there is a toilet and shower block there and also a cafe.
The location was amazing and very peaceful. The sunrise and sunset were beautiful and we could really enjoy a nice glass of wine outside in peace through the the entire day. The breakfast and staff were both amazing as well!
Well manicured and pristine grounds. Weather was not as good as we hoped for but the beauty of our villa and property made us forget about the bad weather
Restaurant was AMAZING, beautiful grounds, kind staff, comfortable beds... an all around delight!! Hope we can make it back when the pools open!!
