Met every need with a beautifully decorated room, extremely comfy bed and linens, well laid out with toilet separated from the shower. Very cosy and good heating and black out blind. Cute little personal balcony. Only a few minutes walk to local wine bars and restaurants. The staff were extremely helpful, providing recommendations and even finding us a corkscrew late at night. Also hands down the best breakfast of our trip in Italy, with truffle eggs and gluten free options. Highly recommended.

When we arrived the host was there and very friendly. He has a nice coffee shop just downstairs from the room so we could stop by and have a little coffee and speak with him for a bit. The place is very traditional and has a great balcony with an incredible view.

Roberto and his family are just great. The venue is an 8-minute drive from Neiva and an 8-minute drive from Barbaresco. Above the family's vineyards, you can watch them from a separate balcony on which you can also have breakfast or just a glass of wine and enjoy the view. The rooms are spacious, really new clean and incredibly comfortable. Breakfast is in a separate room and has everything you could ask for. Keep in mind that it is necessary to take the stairs to the living floor. Roberto gave us good advices, made reservations in restaurants, another couple got an electric bike to tour the area. And above all – the family that takes care of everything with a smile.

One of the prettiest wine villages in the Barbaresco region...

One of the prettiest wine villages in the Barbaresco region (although they are all quite lovely). Surrounded by vineyards and excellent high quality local restaurants in the old centre. A couple of great pizza restaurants in the main village down the hill for when you want something a bit simpler. Many local wine villages to visit by car, although it is possible to walk via the “sentieri” paths if you can find a good map (not easy!). We walked to Barbaresco which was a lovely circular walk (about an hour and a half each way with lots of stops)

Neive is a small and beautiful hill town that is one of the main Barbaresco villages. There are a few decent restaurants in town. Also, has a few good wine bars. The countryside right outside town is great.

Neive is one of the nicest villages in Italy and the capital...

Neive is one of the nicest villages in Italy and the capital of Barbaresco wine (together with the Barbaresco village itself) which together with Barolo wine are among the two best red wines in Italy. Absolutely recommended for people loving the countryside, nature and good food & wine..

Nice hill side village.

Nice hill side village. However tourist beware that food , wine and accommodation are over priced for what is a nice but not marvellous location when compared to what is available in other parts of Italy. In hindsight I think we should have avoided this region of Piemont.

Perfect for a our group on a brief wine and food stopover in Barbaresco / Piedmont. Great location, good value rooms, excellent wine bar and good breakfast. Friendly, helpful, gracious and kind staff, who went out of their way to help us find dinner reservations at a time when most dining options were closed. Neive is in a perfect location for tasting and dining visits through Barbaresco and neighbouring areas of Piedmont, and hotel is in an excellent location within what is a very picturesque village.

Fantastic property, very clean with great facilities and a very welcoming host. Great central location to explore the Langhe area and surrounding districts. Neive is a lovely small wine village with restaurants and enotecas within 2 minutes walk of the property. Parking for two vehicles on site. Washing machine and two bathrooms a real plus for our 4 day stay. Bedrooms are large. Communication with the host was easy and very prompt.

Breakfast was great, delicious! Self service for drinks and wine work perfectly It is about 10 minutes drive to Neive and 20 mins to Alba with lots of options of restaurants We hired a van to take us to Barolo and Barbaresco for wine tasting Wines are good although not as good as Brunellos Definetely recommend the visit, perhaps until November to try truffle hunting

Casa Caimota was a stones through from Neive so easy to go out in the evening. The room was spacious and comfortable and the grounds were beautiful. the pool was a real highlight! also Antonella was the perfect host!
