South AfricaAn absolutely magical place to stay in a magical area. We loved it. In spite of a heat wave the area was pleasant and the house remained cool. Most of the photos are of the location but some are of the things we did while staying here. Cheese tasting at the most magical shop in Bra, Truffle hunting in Alba, visiting Neive. We loved our dinner at Umano in Neive and the breakfast at the Accommodation was fantastic.

L'Aromatario is absolutely fantastic. The breakfast was so sumptuous you could not think of more, really astonishing. We also had dinner, which was just as outstanding with some dishes substantially better than elsewhere we encountered in Italy. The aircon in the bedroom was really functional. Our stay was really what we wanted. Lovely place.

AustraliaFrom the moment I arrived, Marco made me feel so welcome. The accommodation is extremely clean, very comfortable, and beautifully furnished. Every detail was perfect. If I could give this accommodation a 20/10 I would!
The included breakfast in the morning was a delicious, beautiful, bountiful feast! There was no way I could eat it all, so Marco packaged up my leftovers to sustain me on my drive to France.

A small cosy little village in piedmont that gave us the perfect wind down during our vacation!
It’s a small town that you easily walk around within 30 minutes. Would recommend to have a reservation at L'Aromatario - Osteria e Affittacamere which has a price worthy menu, good wines and very good service!
Parking was easy to find, with easy access outside the “walls”

One of the prettiest wine villages in the Barbaresco region...
One of the prettiest wine villages in the Barbaresco region (although they are all quite lovely). Surrounded by vineyards and excellent high quality local restaurants in the old centre. A couple of great pizza restaurants in the main village down the hill for when you want something a bit simpler. Many local wine villages to visit by car, although it is possible to walk via the “sentieri” paths if you can find a good map (not easy!). We walked to Barbaresco which was a lovely circular walk (about an hour and a half each way with lots of stops)

Neive is a small and beautiful hill town that is one of the main Barbaresco villages. There are a few decent restaurants in town. Also, has a few good wine bars. The countryside right outside town is great.

Neive is one of the nicest villages in Italy and the capital...
Neive is one of the nicest villages in Italy and the capital of Barbaresco wine (together with the Barbaresco village itself) which together with Barolo wine are among the two best red wines in Italy. Absolutely recommended for people loving the countryside, nature and good food & wine..

Nice hill side village.
Nice hill side village. However tourist beware that food , wine and accommodation are over priced for what is a nice but not marvellous location when compared to what is available in other parts of Italy. In hindsight I think we should have avoided this region of Piemont.

Easy to contact the owner to let us in, very flexible and accommodating. Lovely people.
Small but adequate lift covers all floors. Rooms were very large.
The room was dated but cosy, comfortable, and very clean and heated.. There are plenty of electrical sockets and lighting. Bed was comfortable. Parking just behind the hotel. Bathroom well equipped and clean.
Breakfast was excellent with pastries, meats, and cheeses, with optional scrambled eggs and coffee excellent.
All in all, I would stay again.

An incredible stay with amazing, attentive staff. Stefano was such a fantastic host. We got engaged on this trip and it was just such a special place to do it.
I upgraded our room to have the private terrace and it couldn't have been more worth it, with the stunning rolling hills and the beautiful Neive in the background.
Everything from the breakfast, pool and Air Con to the bed, shower and drinks were just perfect. We will 100% be staying here again.

We loved everything. We had a beautiful stay in Casa Margot, Neive. Margot was a great host. Very helpful and friendly. We loved everything. The location was great. Clean room and the atmospehere was very nice. The breakfast was amazing in the garden with a beautiful view. We loved her homemade bread. We realy loved it ❤️

Casa Caimotta is situated close to the centre of Neive, walking distance to some nice restaurants. It provides a beautiful view of the area, a nice garden and swimming pool to relax after a day of sightseeing and winetasting. Every morning the very friendly hosts prepare a nice breakfast to start the day.
