Located in Norcia’s historic center, Albergo Ristorante Benito offers free Wi-Fi throughout. Guests can dine at the restaurant and have a drink at the bar. Super friendly and helpful owners. Nice little town unfortunatly hit hard by an earthquake more than two years ago. Top location for exploring the suroundings. Modern practical clean room. The bar downstairs is the centre of the local activities. Great atmosphere and gelato :-) Thanks Mauro
Set in Monti Sibillini National Park, FonteAntica Agriturismo is 6.2 mi outside Norcia and ideal for visiting the Valnerina. The accommodation is absolutely beautiful, well decorated, very clean and peaceful. The stuff was so kind, welcoming and gave us the best tips to discover the area without bumping into too many turists. I definitely recommend staying at Antica Fonte, I hope I will have the chance to go back.
Set in the center of Norcia, Albergo Les Dependences offer rooms with TV. Just 328 feet from Saint Benedict Square, it features a 24-hour reception service, and a breakfast buffet is served. LOCATION WAS VERY GOOD. HAVE BEEN TO NORCIA MANY TIMES. BEST PLACE I HAVE STAYED SO FAR. IT WAS NOT DAMAGED BY THE EARTHQUAKE 3 YEARS AGO. I WILL BE BACK AGAIN. EVERYTHING WAS UPDATED.
Set in Norcia, in the proximity of Monti Sibillini National Park, Antico Borghetto - Casa Vacanze offers accommodations with a garden and free WiFi. The setting, the view from Casa del Lupo, the kindness of the locators and that everything was very clean. All perfect.
Located in Norcia, Affittacamere San Lorenzo features a shared lounge. Among the facilities at this property are a 24-hour front desk and a shared kitchen, along with free WiFi throughout the... Clean and comfortable room. Beautiful! Close to old town. Host was lovely. Great stay. Recommend!
Featuring a spacious garden with BBQ facilities, table tennis and children’s playground, Il Vigneto offers a self-catering house in Norcia. Free Wi-Fi access is available in public areas. We had breakfast in the garden. Hot coffee and delicious cake in the sunshine with a beautiful view. The apartment was warm and comfortable with a bedroom, kitchen/lounge and bathroom. It is situated a little way up the hill with a lovely garden with views of Norcia and the surrounding hills. We were met with warm hospitality. My husband was a little unwell and the owner was very kind and helpful. She invited us to extend our departure time the next day, which we took advantage of, enjoying the sunshine in the garden. It is within easy walking distance of the centre of Norcia despite having a relaxed country ambience.
This family-run farmhouse has a quiet location in Monti Sibillini National Park, a 5-minute drive from the town of Norcia. Its garden features a children's playground. The breakfast system worked really well for us, we enjoyed our early morning visits into Norcia, the staff were very pleasant and dealt very well with our very limited Italian. On each of our three night stay we ate at the restaurant adjoining Casale Nel Parco, thoroughly enjoying the atmosphere and the food. Our accommodation was very comfortable and if we were ever to return to the area this is the place we would stay.
Set 1312 feet from the center of Norcia, Il Casale San Martino is an adult-only property located 164 feet from a bicycle path and 656 feet from a public swimming pool. we stayed at il casale sanmartino for 3 nights. The perfect place to meet beauty of Noria, at the same time, very easy to visit anywhere. The room is spacious ,very clean and comfortable. The host is very warm heart person and supportive. We have learnt much about Norcia by conversation with him. We hope back to il casare sanmartino again in summer or autumn again.
Located in Norcia, Azienda Agrituristica La Valle del Sambuco offers accommodations with free WiFi and TV, as well as a shared lounge and a garden. The location is very close to Norcia, good for visits to the city and trekkings and also very calm. The breakfast is abundant and very good quality.
One of the most special places we have visited. We heard about the earthquake but we didn't know about its extension. We understand the city is still rebuilding and we were impressed with the beauty of the area.
Norcia and the national park are wonderful but you have to make allowances with the town, and others in the area, because of the earthquake that caused so much damage. That said, the countryside is as beautiful as ever and there is a lot to see and do. So do go to visit as you will get great value and the local people really need our support.
Norcia was great for its local produce. The town is still suffering from the effects of the 2016 earthquake and a number of restaurants and bars are still closed. It is well worth helping Norcia to recover as the food and remaining facilities are excellent.
Beautiful place to spend a few days wandering, eating, enjoying the pace of life. Much to do if you have time and are inclined to drive out for walks etc - I could definitely spend longer than our two days though I would have some activities planned for it ! People are fabulous. It is such a crying shame to see how slowly the repairs are coming on since 2016 but shows real strength of character for those who have continued. The tagliere at norcinerie SAN Benedetto comes highly recommended. We had a most wonderful dinner at Granaro Del Monte : food wine and service all fab. Cenacolo was another hit - a touch humbler, absolutely so tasty. Order the lamb!
Whilst the town is in recovery mode following the earthquake two years ago, it’s definitely still worth the visit. Great restaurants and if you like anything piggy it’s a must! Located in stunning countryside with walking and horse trekking available.
The town is a sad place still with a lot of earthquake damage. A few businesses are trying hard to recover. The road from Visio to Castelluccio is closed and the latter village, in the Piano Grande, is completely closed off after 3 years.
The staff were amazing. They made us feel welcome.
