We have visited every year for the last 5 years in Ragusa to walk around the "Centro Storico" and to visit the Montalbano filming sites in the much older Iblei neighborhood. We always find a new and small "mom and pop" place to eat where they say 'what would you like and how would you like it prepared'. Be careful as parking is non-existent in the old sections, and be sure to pay if you do find a spot.
Ragusa Iblea (there are other Ragusa towns) is one of the cleanest towns we visited in Sicily. Very pedestrian-friendly. It's small, so easily walk-able to see the entire town in half a day or so. We had pizza dinner at the Ristorante ll Barocco which was very good.
It's a stunning old city that is a must to visit if you are in Sicily. We enjoyed checking out both Ragusa and Ibla Ragusa and were very sorry that we didn't stay longer than one day and a half. It should be at least two days. We absolutely loved that it's a museum under the sky, beautiful and romantic place to walk during the day and at night. It's a hilly old town with narrow streets and Barroque architecture. Don't hesitate to visit!
Ragusa is good city. You feel like in game of thrones at ragusa ıbla. I think here is the best option to stay in Sicilya. It is possible to find clean and good home. There are good restaurants to eat. City has silence and beatiful view.
Really enjoyed visiting Ilba de Ragusa which was open for business on Sunday when the rest of the town is closed. It is huge walk up and down stairs to get to Ilba dei Ragusa but there are buses. A number 1 and an 11 from Via S. Vito.
Beautiful city that deserves at least 2 days. You must make time for the public gardens located at the far end of Regusa Ilba. And a great platter of meat and cheese can be enjoyed at Salumeria Barocco just 50 meters on the main road leading to the gardens.

Clean and spacious room. Small kitchen shared with one other room. Breakfast was self-serve fruit, yogurt and cereal. Salvatore took all the stress out of what was, for us, the most stressful part of arriving anywhere new in Sicily--figuring out how to park the car. He gave us GPS coordinates for where to meet him at the bottom of the hill that is Ragusa Ibla, then we followed his car up the windy streets to the parking near the room, and he made sure we understood how to get back down. Overall it was a great experience!

Aurienzia is a beautiful bed and breakfast. The owners Stefania and Franco are lovely people. We were visiting family in the area and chose Aurienzia because of the location. The rooms are new and very clean. There is very secure parking. Comfortable beds and great water pressure for the showers. Stefania is very accommodating and makes a great cappuccino! I have a friend in Ragusa now! As my aunt told Stefania I could visit her, but I will be staying with her!!! Many thanks, would rate this B&B more than a ten.

The property was very well located in the city. Parking was not a problem at all. The place was very spacious an exceptionally prepared to host its visitors. The host had everything ready and in place for the hosted. A lot of items were in place to please the hosted. The area is quiet and the patio provided is perfect for relaxation. The inside of the apartment is very interesting and welcomes you to stay more. It is a great choice for families, also. Great pick for the city of Ragusa!!!

Great location convenient for the station while in the historic ‘new’ town of Ragusa. Charming welcoming host. Lovely room with balcony and modern bathroom. Although breakfast is provided at a quirky (and not to be missed) local cafe the B&B also has tea and coffee facility in a dining room/kitchen which guests can use. I only stayed one night on my tour of Sicily; I’d recommend longer making Ragusa your base for visiting nearby Modica and the seashore as well.

Absolutely beautiful. The hosts, Anna and Ennio, were perfect—fixing us a wonderful antipasto light meal (cheeses, sausages, bread, fruit) when we arrived late after a full day of travel and sightseeing, attentive to every need. We adored them! The accommodations were very comfortable, lovely pool, and a view to die for from the terrace overlooking medieval Ragusa Ibla. Just down the hill was one of Ragusa’s nicest restaurants, La Capinera.

Emilio the owner was a wonderful host. We were off season, midweek, so the only guests for 2 of 3 nights yet he still prepared a large, fresh breakfast for us. His homemade marmalade was amazing. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Wifi was strong and fast. Parking is an easy walk away, but not on the property. There are many excellent restaurants within 5 minutes walk. I would definitely recommend staying here when in Ragusa.
