We booked a double room at the last moment as we were passing by Ragusa. The room was very clean with all the amenities you could ask for. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, at the entrance of the old town but also near the car parking.

Lovely property in an old Franciscan monastery. Completely modern rooms but the monastery charm had been retained in the reception areas, breakfast room and terrace and spa. Very helpful staff and excellent spa treatments. Breakfast was nice as well.

Interesting multi-level property over looking a waterfall. Every room was different with a very nice bathroom with well working roomy shower. Our room was on the top floor so the ceiling was slanted. I’m only 5’1” and my husband 5’11” however someone taller might feel tight. But bed was comfortable and room styled nicely. The breakfast was fabulous and the breakfast/common room was lovely with beautiful outside space by the waterfall.

We found Ragusa Ibla to be highly over-rated. It was nice enough but hardly a "must see", especially when there are so many other beautiful villages/towns in Sicily. We used it as a base for other places to fill the time we had booked.

Very good location to visit the Syracuse-Ortigia and the Baroque cities Modica- Ragusa-Sciccly and Noto. We where in Ragusa Ibla, very cozy old Baroque city with good restaurants ( even for Michelin Lovers there where 2 restaurants with stars ) For doing the tour of the Baroque cities you need a car and to driving and parking in the narrow streets you have to kbe not sressy and concentrated. Also good for your work out , there are many stairs up and down in the city.

Ragusa itself is a beautiful town and very walkable, I'd recommend three or four nights to do it justice. As a town it feels like tourism is an 'add-on' and therefore feels very genuine and Sicilian as are the restaurants all of which we thought were excellent. The only downside is the public transport, to go anywhere outside of Regusa we found to be quite a challenge as basically you have to rely on taxis, however maybe the transport issue is what has kept Regusa such a beautiful place so its not all bad!!!

Ragusa is an enchanting hill town in rural Sicily.
Ragusa is an enchanting hill town in rural Sicily. It is surrounded by steep gorges, with the town spreading up three steep linked hills. It's a fantastic place to spend a few hours exploring the narrow steep streets. We found some wonderful shops - intended for tourists, but good value. There were also fantastic eateries and the local people we interacted with all seemed charming and helpful. We ate dinner in La Bettola in Ragusa Ibla, which was delicious and great value.

Ragusa has two parts to it, the old and new.
Ragusa has two parts to it, the old and new. The old city is very beautiful and interesting to explore. The main street is fun with restaurants, shops and a park at the end with wonderful views of the valley and mountains beyond. We did not go up the hill to the new city however so we cannot characterize it.
We were searching some location near to center but also with easy access to parking. This hotel is 2' from a big parking and from the Ragusa center, San Giovanni and restaurants. Of course it is not in Ragusa Ibla so some walking is needed to reach that part, but there are city bus going down and up the hill. We got a very big room on top of the hotel that is located in a historical palace and had a nice view on roofs. The staff was ready to help and make suggestions for our visits. Breakfast was served in the room
Spacious room in a nicely restored hotel in Ragusa Ibla. The location is excellent, about 1 minute's walk to the start of Via Scale which leads to some fantastic viewpoints and on to Ragusa. It is also about 15 minutes' walk to Ragusa Ibla with its restaurants, cafes and sights, so ideal for visiting both parts of the city. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was great. Would highly recommend.
The location of the hotel. The room size with 2 balconies and a view of the garden and pool areas.Quiet location. Great viewing on tv with Netflix.large comfortable quiet room. Great breakfast room and breakfast. Friendly staff. A wonderful green oasis garden and pool area it’s a pity the weather was not warm enough to enjoy them. An easy walk down to Ragusa Ibla and back again. Would recommend.
We were on our first holiday with our baby and in Ragusa we found our Sicilian home! Massimo and Cornelia are so sweet and will give you everything you need and more! They cooked dinner for us, gave us tons of advice and even took care of our baby while we packed our bags.We were simply overwhelmed by their kindness. If we come back to Sicily we will go straight to Terrazzo su Ibla.
We had a wonderful time! La Dimora Hotel is a beautiful place. The room was spacious, very tidy, and the panoramic view from the balcony of Ragusa Ibla was unforgettable. The staff is very friendly. Federico deserves special praise for his excellent recommendations and advice. I will be happy to come back again!
