A charming and convenient base for exploring Mantova's old town We recently spent four nights at a truly unique apartment in the heart of Mantova's old town. The location was absolutely ideal, tucked away on a quiet street but just a short walk from , Lago Superiore, Main Train Station, Piazza Sordello and Palazzo Ducale, allowing us to explore all the major sites on foot. The apartment itself was a real find—full of old-world charm and original character. The standout feature was undoubtedly the old wood details, which gave the space a warm and authentic feel. The rich, dark wooden ceiling beams and the beautifully worn hardwood floors in the living area told a story and made for a cozy, inviting atmosphere, also the antique wooden furniture and the rustic timber door frames. While the apartment had a classic feel, it was equipped with all the modern amenities we needed. Our hosts, Signora Carla, Signor Francesco and Mateo, were incredibly helpful and made our stay stress-free. Communication was seamless from the beginning, and they offered excellent recommendations for local restaurants and hidden gems. The best thing is parking in the middle of the hotel. We had a truly wonderful and memorable time in Mantova, and this apartment's unique character was a big part of that experience. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and perfectly situated home base that offers a genuine taste of old-town Italian life. We had a wonderful stay at this apartment, right in the heart of Mantova! The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city and nearby attractions. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable, and we really appreciated how responsive and helpful the host was. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

Mantua is a gem and this apartment is a gem within it. The apartment is clea and stylish. We rented one room. The common space is shared with another room, but we never saw that guest. I wish we would have stayed another night to take more advantage of the city and these great accomodations.
