The accommodation was very spacious, beautifully maintained, and furnished with great taste, making it feel both comfortable and elegant. The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations for hiking trails and local dining that really enriched our visit. One of the highlights was simply relaxing on the balcony, enjoying the stunning mountain views right from the room. A fantastic place to stay for anyone looking to explore the Dolomites.

Garni La Tambre met all of our expectations and then some! The property is in the very best area of Selva and provides excellent access to multiple lifts within easy walking distance to enable a skier to access both sides of the valley quickly and efficiently. The property is a short walk uphill from the town centre. Don't let the elevation dissuade you from staying here. The views from the property are well worth the short walk. The owners, Daniel and his father Oscar, were extremely attentive and they are unbelievable hosts. Daniel pays very close attention to his guests and is always there to help give guidance, directions and recommendations to enhance your vacation. The breakfast provided is typical of northern Italy, and is excellent. Coffees are served promptly (and after day 1 the staff know your morning coffee routine). The quality and size of the breakfast is excellent and the view from the dining room is magnificent. The amenities provided are very good, given the size of the lodge. The sauna, steam room and relaxation room are perfect, beyond clean and in excellent condition. There is also a small pool table and foosball table for some family action. The bedrooms themselves are excellent with lots of room and the beds are very comfortable. The views of Selva and the valley from the balcony are stunning. We enjoyed having separate duvets on our bed as did our kids. The bathroom was spotless and the oversized tiled shower was awesome. Even the "view from the throne" was fantastic! The daily housekeeping service was impeccable. The cleanliness of this lodge was above average and likely the best of anywhere we have ever stayed, and we have travelled globally. I simply could not find any real faults in the facilities. The lounge area with an apres ski bar and a small fireplace is setup with a number of tables for getting together, playing games or having a drink from the onsite bar that is attended by the owners.

Absolutely amazing place! Lovely atmosphere, great location and totally fabulous breakfasts! Maria is truly amazing, our son loved everything about the place and she was so kind she borrowed him huge toys boxes and he ended up playing also with her son. This place is home away from home. That can’t be described in words… you have to live it. All the guests were so friendly… we can’t wait to be back!

It was very clean , the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a half board package and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. We will come back for sure.

Location is amazing, hosts were very helpful with the planning of the hiking routes. We got free bus passes from the host for the whole Val Gardena and the bus stop is across the street so you can visit all other villages in Val Gardena easily.

The Family were lovely, very knowledgeable and helpful in regards to activities in the area. Breakfast was good.

The location is perfect not far from the central town and spa facilities after a good hike, the staff were very welcoming.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel and its staff were excellent, and everything was thoughtfully planned down to the smallest detail. If we ever stay in this town again, we will definitely choose this hotel again.

The interior is stunning, elegant and cozy in an old school way one would see only in winter romcom movies. Bonus points for beautiful sacral art here and there, if you're someone who like us doesn't want to stay in a place full of new age stuff this is the place to pick for sure. Breakfasts were tasty and diverse, will fuel many hours of hiking- I even got takeaway when we wanted to leave for a hike before I was ready to eat anything. Our room was quite large, the bed comfortable and I loved the bathtub. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, will go beyond your expectations to make your experience a good 11/10. We hope to come back again!

Great location, friendly staff, very clean, good ski storage room, great breakfast with lots of options. Virtually ski in ski out, located beside both slopes and lifts. Great bars and restaurants are very close, but still quiet at night.

I am literally speechless, one of the best hotels we have stayed at. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home and answered all our questions to explore the Dolomites with so much patience and thought. The breakfast was amazing. The evening tea time snacks and coffee was amazing. The location of the property was perfect and the rooms were classy and perfect.

Probably the best stay in my life. Beautiful hotel with parking garage, large comfort rooms, amazing view of dolomites, close to village center with nice, helpful and always smiling owners, who care about you like a family. Perfect breakfast. When owner noticed that we love cafe, next day we found a cafe machine in our room! You can wash your bike here. Owners answer nicely every question, recomends restaurants, markets, even bike trails!

All staff were amazing - warm, welcoming and helpful at all times. The whole hotel was clean and beautifully presented and we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel amenities- the pool, spa and gym especially. The small touches, such as the robes in our room and dried fruit and water by the spa and sauna, made us feel very special. The daily breakfast was a highlight! Thank you for a wonderful stay.
