First of all the cuisine - just magnificent, based on local products, terrific wine card. Also the choice of local spirits and drinks served by very good bartender deserve for appreciation. Very hostile, kind and helpfull staff. Rooms were very clean and refreshed everyday. Underground garage, free of charge for guests (big thumbs up!) Each day the hotel organize an excursion for persons who don't ski, what is just great!

We loved our room with its deck overlooking an 12th century church. The room was comfy and soothing, the breakfast fantastic, and the staff knowledgeable and friendly. We spent four blissful days there, hiking from the hotel. The lift to Seiser Alm is less than a mile away.

The perfect place for a solo traveller looking to enjoy a few active days but come back to a warm, hospitable hotel. The staff is attentive and gracious. The grounds are immaculate and zen-like. There are local activities that are well-organized. The spa, sauna, and pool are the perfect place to wind down. The food and drink make it difficult to want to go eat anywhere else for the value (and wine list). Hotel Waldrast exceeded my expectations. It is no understatement to say it made my vacation one of the best I've taken in a long time. I will return with friends and family.

I had a single room which was very spacious and comfortable. The owners of the hotel were very friendly as were the wonderful staff! They were extremely helpful arranging activities. Dinner was also amazing!

Siusi is a nice, picturesque village with a small centre that offers all you need - a nice caffee, some restaurants, a well stocked shop, bakery, etc. It is really close to Seiseralm cable car and offers plenty of opportunities for walks and some nice old churches paired with views of magnificent Mt. Schlern.

If you are visiting the Dolomite mountains, Siusi is perhaps the place to stay. The cable car facilities are in the town. This cable car will take up the mountains into an open valley where you can see the mountains all around you. You can walk down this valley a few hundred yards and take a chair lift to a higher point where your eye sight can reach peaks like Marmolada much farther away. Siusi is full of hotels and several restaurants. It is a nice little town cubbyholed in the mountains, but easy and safe to reach.

Amazing staff and managers who run very comfortable and well organized facilities in a great location (even though it's not located in the ski area exactly, it's near the main lift station at Alpe di Siuisi. which you can reach by car or bus). Beautifully decorated, spacious room (we stayed in a Green Suite), good food, fabulous service in a familiar - and very professional - unit that more than accommodation, is a whole experience. Many thanks to the Thomaseth Family, we had a great time.

The main ski zone in Santa Cristina is 15-20 minutes drive by car. The apartment is modern and comfortable with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it has all main kitchen equipment. The bed was one if the most comfortable I have ever slept. The view from the windows and terrace is really amazing. The host is very polite and we have arranged late check in with him.

Next time we will be around, we will stay at Villa Rier for sure.
