Everything was great: the manager/owner? was the nicest, I felt like I was the only one staying there so it was calm and peaceful (good soundproofing, which is rare these days), the place is oldish but very comfy (good bed and pillows, AC in the room, shower that's properly working)

Excellent location across from bus and train stazione. I had a very peaceful room, it had everything I needed so functioned well and good size. The hosts did not speak English but they were very kind and obliging I will stay again

Excellent stopover point for journey to Montepulciano. Handy to train and car hire.

Claudio, the owner and manager of Antico Sipario, is contagiously enthousiastic and very, very hospitable. In addition, he's full of tips about the surroundings. You can ask anything you want to know about the region. Breakfast is a mix of local specialities (including the family's own olive oil) and contintental breakfast. You can ask for more or less of any of the ingredients and vent your own wishes.

It is a beautifully restored building. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel completely at home. The location could not be beaten with wonderful views of the lake. The food was gorgeous and they have an amazing wine selection. They offer secure parking on site. Cannot speak highly enough about this lovely hotel

Great hotel right in the historical center. The room was spacious, very comfortable and with lake view. I also much appreciated the possibility for guests to make a tea in the common area! Breakfast was delicious and rich. The staff was kind and immediately available for check in and check out.

The location of the building is excellent, close to the highway. The building is old but extremely neat and clean, surrounded by large pine trees and ideal for resting on longer trips... The hosts are very hospitable, all praise...
