The staff were brilliant. In particular Paola on reception and the girl with the very long curly hair...sorry forgot your name. The room was lovely and overall the location for us was great. Close to Porto casera and gallapoli. Definitely need car hire but really good value. Breakfast simple but tasty. We were out of season so pool too cold to use but i imagine in the summer it would be very nice by the pool bar.

We loved everything ! Two minutes waking distance to beach with the clearest water. Restaurants and little grocery stores nearby also . The room was clean and spacious enough for our family of 4. Beach umbrella, cooler bag ,chairs , bikes were also available for use free of charge. Breakfast was good, with big variety of food and drinks. Each apartment had little outdoor seating area which we enjoyed too.

The sea is really beautiful, transparent blue water.

The sea is really beautiful, transparent blue water. The shore decline slowly into the water, allowing fun for children and not swimmers. The beach itself is very crowded, almost not possible to walk trough the towels and the beach umbrellas. Most of the beach is free entrance, so you may save some money. The few organized beaches are always full. All along the shore you will find some beach restaurant and bars for the day. If you want to find larger beach and less crowded you shall take a car and drive 15 minutes to Baia deglie Angeli / Punta prosciutto. This is a small city on the coast, mainly visited by locals or italian tourists. It is not a typical tourist place with fun and shops. Most of the time you shall stay on the beach, because the shops will open around 5pm. Evening life start about 8 pm and it concentrated on a central street with some restaurants. Prices are fair. For the evening, you can find some action in Porto Cesareo (15 minutes) Santa Caterina (30 minutes) or Gallipoli (45 minutes). Take care that parking is really messy.

Torre Lapillo is a beautiful seaside location with stunning white sandy beaches and clear, shallow waters. It’s a peaceful and relaxing area, perfect for enjoying the sea and the authentic atmosphere of Salento.

The water is something else! We could not get enough of it. It is so clear, the color varies from emerald to turquoise blue, indescribable. Highly recommended, one of the best places in Italy for a seaside vacation. Delicious fresh seafood adds to a great experience. Pescheria 3.0 was a great place to visit for fresh seafood, also Orchidea Marina or Da Mimi (reservations are highly recommended). We enjoyed the beach at Salinas within a 10-min drive from Torre Lapillo.

A great place to stay if you want to be situated near a...

A great place to stay if you want to be situated near a wonderful beach, and visit other places in the area. We visited late September, so the crowd was really off, and the place was very relaxed and quiet. You do need a car if you want to visit the whole area.

A small village where everything you need is available.

A small village where everything you need is available. Several restaurants, bars, plenty of shops, two fishmongers and even a pharmacy. A really well stocked Kennedy store. The beaches in Torre Lapillo are well worth a visit, they are beautiful and suitable for children.

Lovely beach with (too) many tourist that come there in the high season. Beach town in typical simple concrete building style with various bars and restaurants. No glamour, but good food at reasonable prices.

The two words that can most accurately describe this place is TOP LOCATION. It is right on that beach, you can smell the sea from the house, you can hear the sea breeze. Views from the second floor balcony are incredible. The place is clean and has all the necessities for a very nice stay. The second floor is well equipped to cook and eat while admiring the view. There is a rather small but very nice garden if you prefer to eat under the shade of an olive tree (the balcony while great is rather hot before 9pm).

Clean and convenient room, ideal for a stay at the coast. There was ample space as we were only two people in an appartment with four to five beds. The appartment had all the amenites that you need, including the possibility to rent an ombreḷlo and two lettinos at the Dune Beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitifly come back, notably in the low season. Restaurants are within walking distance and the public beach ist only 5 to 7 minutes away by foot

The pictures do not do justice to the property. It is even more beautiful. The pool is utterly amazing with a very big section being shallow which was perfect for kids to play. The rooms are very spacious and clean. They did our room just like a hotel, which was a big surprise. Breakfast was also really good. Location was very close to both of the beautiful beaches of torre lapillo and porto cesareo

The apartment we had on the first floor was really spacious and had a terrace as big as the apartment itself. Big kitchen, comfortable bathroom and bed. The host, Franco, is very nice and forthcoming. The village center and beach are in walking distance.
