Centrally located in Tricase, Callistos Hotel has a garden and a sun terrace with sun loungers. It offers free Wi-Fi and air-conditioned accommodations with a furnished balcony. Quite an extraordinary hotel for a small town. It is balanced in quality for all aspects. They were also gracious when I needed to checkout a day early. They could have kept the cash.
B&B Borgo del Gallo is located in Tricase and offers free bikes, a shared lounge and a garden. Lovingly restored farm house with large comfortable rooms, amazing breakfast and great value. Laila, the owner’s daughter who runs everything, is a lively person. She helped us out in a difficult situation ( we parked our car in a supermarket lot and got locked in), she offered great recommendations and taught us a lot about the area. Cannot say enough good things about her.
Featuring free WiFi, Le Stanze Di Brando E Nico offers accommodations in Tricase, 22 mi from Gallipoli. The rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV, coffee machine and fridge. We stayed with a few friends for three nights. The rooms were very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The fridge in the room was very useful. Loved sitting out on the balcony and the terrace drinking coffee in the sunshine! On a lovely quiet street and walking distance to bars and shops in the town. Sandra was a very helpful host!
Set in a 17th-century rural building with garden equipped with BBQ facilities, Masseria Uccio offers rooms in Tricase, a 25-minute drive from Santa Maria di Leuca. Beautiful property with many thoughtful touches and cosy areas to lounge and relax, very comfortable room and delicious breakfast. And of course, the owners, are the most kind and caring. Highly recommend to grab a bike (available at a property) and have fun exploring the area and nearby towns.
Located in Tricase, Corte Piri provides a garden and terrace. Every room comes with a patio. Corte Piri is very close to the center and the inner court is a gem hidden between the other city buildings. And don’t fear the heat in July/August, as the room is very fresh day and night. We had a small problem with the power in the room but the host was extremely kind and caring and offered us an extra night for free to make up.
Set in Tricase, 9.9 mi from San Cassiano, Le Tre Case offers free bikes and free WiFi. The holiday home provides air-conditioned, a seating area with cable flat-screen TV and a fully equipped kitchen.... The host, Claudio, and his girl friend was extremely nice. They took us to S. Marie di Lucca when they discovered we were going to leave Pulgia without seeing it. The place is clean and centrally located. We would definitely recommend this place.
Rosa dei Venti is located in Tricase, 30 mi from Lecce. Every room at this guest house is air conditioned and equipped with a coffee machine. A wonderfully converted property, thoughtfully turned into bed and breakfast - natural features and materials with modern comforts merged in a very local context, run by a fantastically friendly couple who were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Scrumptious home-made breakfast, water, coffee and tea available throughout the day. A very relaxed atmosphere with a lovely little patio leading between the kitchen and bedroom just perfect for relaxing between outings.
Tricase is a gem!!!! While all around cities are drowning in tourists in August, Tricase was a safe island for us. Good food, no pure money making but a high standard for the Italian locals or Italian tourists , which means food is made for them not for feeding tourists , etc. beautiful sea, no umbrellas or That kind of stuff , raw , pure , preserved beauty . Happy I chose it and it will be definitely place o comee back!!
Amazing! I loved the stay and everything about it. Francesco and Paula are exceptional hosts and the breakfast in the morning is a dream. We loved to have a wine in the garden with a beautiful view and a setting sun! Beaches are close by and Tricase is a small town with very nice restaurants. The rooms are big and all have their own WiFi and they went the extra mile to cover all windows and doors with mosquito nets. The interior is modern while the authentic rustic puglian style has been kept. I would love to come back any time!
I would not recommend Tricase as a vacation destination. Not a lto there to do and the city itself feels run down. The people are nice and is close to the coast, however I would not return to Tricase.
Great off the beaten track town in a remote area of the "heel" of Italy. Well worth the visit to get a taste of real Italy. Already sweltering at the end of April so must be hot in summer but the cool dark alleys and low built housing make it cool place to stop over.
Tricase is one the tipical Salento country, beatiful and full of art. Since the 9th to the 11th of August you can partecipate to its party in honor of San Vito and the historical centre is full of people, fantastic experience. I suggest Strittule to eat someting tipical, but there are a lot of restaurant. Tricase is closed to the best part of the Salento Sea, I mean the beaches wich go from Otranto to Leuca, because I like to make snorkeling and I also think that expecially in August the sea is cleaner then the Mar Ionico and less crowded.
In low season this is one of the loveliest places in southern Italy. Don't miss to have a snack or cappuccino at the Mename al Porto. The Cornetto con Crema are the best in the world! Swimming into the Grotta Vberde at the morning, while the sun is shining from the east, is another unforgettable highlight, you should'nt miss.
