Family owned and we met some of them and they are wonderful people. Very lovely family who genuinely care and get to know their guests even for a short stay. Beds are great, rooms are spacious and clean, location is a great proximity to Volterra. The restaurant is quaint and makes fantastic handmade pasta. Overall 10/10! Would repeat!!

I spent three days in Volterra and thoroughly enjoyed everything (museums, views, good food, and good wine), but due to work obligations, I had to limit the things I could visit. Volterra has so much to offer; I encourage everyone to visit it with respect and admiration.

One of the best places I have been in Italy. Lovely little town, lots of nice restaurants and bars and shops. Amazing views. Gorgeous sunsets. Well worth the effort it took to get here - its not an easy place to get to but well worth it.

The villa was a wonderful place to stay!
The villa was a wonderful place to stay! The building was built in the 15th century but has all the modern amenities. Our host/owner Luca was so accommodating in every way. His staff prepared a delicious breakfast each morning with many varieties of local cuisine. He had even prepared a map and detailed itinerary for several day trips if we wanted to explore the surrounding towns and other sights. This hotel was an excellent find.
Right in the middle of Volterra this charming hotel was booked for a 2 night stay to attend a wedding in Tuscany. It is a family run property and they are lovely people. They helped us with bags up to our rooms. The breakfast was generous and they served hot delicious cappuccinos! The paid car park is a short 2 min walk. We received detailed instructions and the hotel manager was very responsive on WhatsApp guiding us to park and walk to hotel. He even helped take our bags back to car park on check out. The rooms were charming and clean.
The place is amazing and all i could hear is the birds singing. A nice relaxing pool and a stunning overview of the hills during sunset. Perfect place to stay after visiting San Gimignano and Volterra. There is no AC, have to open the windows all night. Breakfast is good with a limited selections.
The property is beautiful, right in the heart of Volterra, which is a fabulous historic village. The property is newly renovated. We had an issue with the electrics which was sorted out by the owners within 5 minutes of me contacting them. I would definitely stay here again.
Incredible apartments to stay at if you're traveling around Volterra, San Gimignano, Pisa and that area of Tuscany. We loved the quietness at the villa and the pool was amazing. Alessia is such a great host as well.
