It is an old hotel so with realistic expectations it is actually very good. Room was big, front desk was helpful, onsen was decent and finally the food was better than lots of Ryokan that we have stayed in.

Pretty little gem perfectly located right a few steps away from Tateyama train station and cable car station - therefore the best spot to spend the night before or after doing the Kurobe Alpine Route. Very comfortable futons, nice rooms, delicious japanese dinner and breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff.

The cabin was lovely, comfortable, cute and set among gorgeous deciduous trees that had their autumn leaves. The people were friendly and helpful and communicated well with limited English and our lack of Japanese. It was a fine adventure getting there on the local train with a nice walk from the station. They gave us a ride back to the station the next morning and my husband left his phone in their car. When he realised, we rang them and they made a second trip to the station to bring it back for us :). We were very grateful for their kindness. The food they gave us was oishii (delicious). It was a perfect location to get a good early start on the Alpine crossing (which was awesome).

Natsuki is wonderful and the food is delicous ! The location is perfect because in 5 minutes by car you are at Tateyama Station. We also loved the mood and the interior design of the common parts.

We loved our stay! We booked the tatami room with mountain view - the room was very comfortable and the view was amazing! We also enjoyed our kaiseki dinner (with beautiful sunset views) and buffet breakfast. And don't skip the baths and onsen!
