Miyuki was wonderful: very helpful; charming and a terrific cook! The place could be a little hard to find but Miyuki picked us up at the station and it turns out there's an easy 15-minute walk to Suda station that's not on Google maps. It's a semi-rural setting and quite peaceful and was a great base for us for a day at Koyasan. The facilities were very modern and spotless and Miyuki's breakfasts were wonderful. Highly reommended, if the location suits you (as it did us.)

Kaako was a wonderful host and cook. It was great to experience a Japanese home and home cooking on the coldest day of our trip! The futon was very comfortable and the surrounding area was beautiful.

The area was beutiful with some lovely walks. Great for a relaxing time. The host realy went above and beyond. I don't think there is a walkable shop but the hotel is also a restaurant.

I booked a single room, and it was clean and nicely decorated. The owners are very friendly and speak good English. I had originally said I would arrive at 6-7pm, but was delayed and arrived after 8pm. The owner kindly facilitated this for me but it is a small hotel so it is helpful to be accurate with your arrival time.

Amazing owner, very kind and pleasant, as well as the entire stay. Good choice for those travelling to Koya-san but not staying up there.

- Super clean and tidy - Really comfortable bed/beddings - AC (heating/cooling) - THE LOVELIEST PEOPLE EVER (who go above and beyond for their guests) - Very tasty food at the restaurant - Convenient location (only a couple of minutes away from Konpon Daitō – The Great Pagoda) and easy to get around in general - I booked only 1 night as I was on a tight schedule.
