Loved the location in a non-tourist town. Happy there was a parking space too. The house was spacious and comfortable. From a European point of view, we loved living in a Japanese house with tatami and Japanese bathroom. The host was very communicative Uganda welcoming.

Excellent in every way. The view of Mount Fuji from the room was stunning, the room has every amenity you can hope to have and a private outdoor bath you can luxuriate in whilst admiring the view. The Japanese breakfast and dinner was superb and of course the staff were all friendly and attentive.

Good base for the beaches at Mihama and Odoi, hiking around...

Good base for the beaches at Mihama and Odoi, hiking around the Heda Valley, and and going further up to Daruyama. Reasonable selection of restaurants, mainly crab and fish, and a delightful Show-era ramen shop. 7-11 convenience store has a very wide range of goods, though there are a couple of other shops and markets. Been here a few times, and each time find something new. Mihama beach is clean and comfortable, not too crowded in summer, best to bring own food and drinks. Very sheltered and safe for family bathing and swimming.
