Super easy to find, a short walk from the station. There were free pastries and drinks available on arrival. Later on, there seemed to be free alcoholic drinks and snacks available in the dining room. It was help yourself with no staff in sight...unless I misunderstood something?!? The hotel and room had a great view of the town and surrounding mountains and was easy to reach from both the snow monkey park and Nagano. The room was very large and futon beds were comfortable. We also tried the onsen, which was great and completely empty! We tried to gave dinner there but were told we had to have reserved ahead of time. Not sure how we would have done that.

The location is great, situated between the bus terminal and Yubatake, making it easy to visit Yubatake whenever we like. The room is appropriately sized for a family and offers good value for money.
