Mari-san is a great host who renovated her grandparents traditional Japanese house in Mitarai. It is a comfortable, good-decorated and a very loved place. Mari-san also has a great selection of maps and guides of the area. I enjoyed our conversations with Mari-san, an architect from Hiroshima, and would love to come back. Mari-san also cooked a delicious dinner and breakfast - taking into account that I don't eat meat! Fantastic stay, highly recomended

Quiet off-season but we loved WAKKA and had amazing help from Hitome, Ricky and Arashi which made our stay very special. Gorgeous apartment-like accommodation looking out over the bridge—v high end, clean, classy. Delicious local fish meal at restaurant across the road—book through hotel as it’s tiny. Cycled up to Sakari port for the boat to Rabbit Island where we spent an hour or so cycling and seeing sweet rabbits and scary ruins. Then cycled on round north end of Omishima (one big hill, but manageable with good gears) and back down to the lovely public baths at Mare Gracia. Ricky from WAKKA picked us up in the free shuttle saving us the final bike ride. Thank you!

Everything was incredible. The staff went to great lengths to make our stay as perfect as possible. The food was amazing and far surpassed many fine dining experiences we have had in Japan. The room and onsen were beautiful and the view was spectacular. The staff showed exceptional attention to fine details, making our stay as relaxing and accommodating as possible. The experience far exceeded our expectations and we are looking forward to the opportunity of visiting again.

Pretty easy registration and ckeck-in. Perfect location and very good amenities for travelling with bycicle. Very quiet place, though we had shared amenities. Tea and coffee bags in our room. Spacy room that was very well equipped.

Tallest building in the area and the most pretty - I was at the 15th floor and I had amazing view of the bridge and the sea and the castle. My room was very very luxurious and spacious. The breakfast was nice, not many dessert options. The breakfast is right by a beautiful garden with big waterfalls and it was amazing to eat there, I took many pictures. The lobby is also amazing and huge. Everything is very boutique. Hope they won’t raise their prices, it’s very worth it right now (about ¥14K). I saw there’s a train station close by but I got there by car, the parking costs money but I would’ve parked at a different location if I knew.
