This place, and the staff, were wonderful. The space was comfortable. Everything within the home worked: microwave, burner, fan, washing machine, A/C. The pots were appropriately sized. The beds were very comfortable. The materials provided helped me enjoy the area more. We were able to find and enjoy 3 shrines, a few hikes, a local farm, a flower garden, and local food, from the recommendations provided. The host even assisted me with a dinner reservation, and the food was terrific. I would stay here again!

Stayed here with some friends (2 couples, 2 rooms) on our road trip down south of Miyazaki. The property is a funky (in a good way) renovated old JP home with shared showers and bathrooms. There's a cool bar / coffee area as well as a communal tatami room -- we played board games in the tatami room while having some drinks. The property is located in the middle of the 'fun' district in town, with lots of izakayas and snacks and cafes within walking distance. We walked to a nearby izakaya and had a great time. Since the property is 'contactless checkin' it's a good option for shy people or couples who just want to focus on feeling privacy.

The setting was beautiful. Smoke from the hot springs billowing out from our bedroom view. You could see it from the small hot tub on the balcony of our room. They have a large breakfast buffet if you want. The personal hot tubs were very scenic. Free Ramen at 10pm. We really loved staying here.

We spent great moments here. Inside the house, it is pretty warm. There are coffee beans and everything ready for us to make a hand drip coffee. I can’t wait to make one cup. The coffee taste so good and smooth, maybe this is selected beans. I connected the Bluetooth speaker and playing Mayumi Itsuwa’s songs. Music harmonized with the lovely chalet interior, the atmosphere is so relaxing and immersive. Kihara-san is very nice. The Shinyu Onsen he recommended is gorgeous. The hot spring water is wonderful. It is milky-white, so natural and so great. I guess it come from a sulphur spring. In the daytime, we hiked around Onamiike and Ebino Plateau. The crater lake is amazing and there are great views along the trails. At night, we do BBQ in front of the chalet. We rent a Charcoal Konro Grill set, it is really convenient. We bought some Japanese Wagyu beef for yakiniku from supermarket near Kirishima. The beef is yummy, really delicious.
