Wounderful homestay experience! The couple running the place are warm and welcoming. We had tea and fruits from the garden and chatted like visiting relatives after a long time. Emiko was very welcoming and helped us feel at home in her newly renovated farm. She cooked a great traditional Japanese meal for us. In the morning she took us to see a small shrine that her community is taking care of. It was very special for us to experience life in such a remote area in the mountains.

Thanks so much for the stay! I had one day stay and this Minshuku is so beautiful in the mountains. The owner offers pickup service from station and helped me a lot and a hot pot style dinner gave me a family dinner vibe~ It was a pity that I had some work stuff to focus on during stay so I did not make it to visit the farms and have some chill, but this farm stay is absolutely a must in Tokushima mountains.

We enjoyed the retro vibe of the old family house and it was lovely to stay in a semi rural environment so close to town.So comfortable we felt quite at home here and a great host who made us very welcome.

This is such a lovely location, the restored traditional village is amazing. We met very friendly and hospitable locals who took us to their secret bar and others who entertained us royally in the restaurant. The guesthouse is simple, stylish and traditional. Shared living space with the family. Feels very traditional living. Go to the restaurant Oden in the village it's a lot of fun.
