The massage chair in the room is a genius idea. After a long drive it was amazing relaxing on it. Great size of the room, huge bed, great pillows, the bathroom was clean and spacious. Also great location with lots of shops and restaurants.

Great location in Tokushima. Not touristic. Very quiet but convenient. The view of the river from the room (10th floor) was absolutely stunning, on a sunny or rainy day. The breakfast at their 2nd floor restaurant featured both Japanese traditional food and western breakfast items. Absolutely worth it. Walking distance to Tokushima Train and Intercity Bus stations, where a lot of good restaurants are located. Very reasonably priced for a nice room.

Tokushima is a nice and vibrant city, that gets the most of its hype during the great Awa Odori Matsuri, held in mid August. If the temperatures are too hot for you, you can still see Awa Odori performances all year around. From Tokushima is also easy to reach Naruto, with its famous whirlpools.

Tokushima Prefecture is pretty much off the beaten track for foreign visitors to Japan. If you are hoping to have a real Japanese experience, and avoid the crowds, Tokushima, along with other 'rural' regions of Japan are the perfect places to visit.

Such a hlpful place to start our time in Shikoku and the information centre was beyond brilliant - even above the standard of the other cities which have also proven to be so helpful. Great place to start our Shikou 88 pilgrimage and we rather regretted cutting our nights from 5 to 3 so that we could also visit Naoshima.

Tokushima has a lot to offer those who want to get off the beaten track. To enjoy what Tokushima has to offer it helps to have a hire car - great food, very friendly people and an interesting view of Japanese life. Best for those who want to dig a bit deeper - it was our second trip to Japan. Great restaurants near JR Station Oysters and whirlpools at Naruto, mega donkey store, cable car, awesome food, round 1, aeon store and just hanging with locals. Lots more to do if you look. Not Japan’s most beautiful city, but it is authentic.

At the time of booking, there was only twin bed smoking room...

At the time of booking, there was only twin bed smoking room available for two people, so we booked it anyway even we don’t smoke. The room had air-filer system that was running constantly, so there was no smell!! The room was big. It was a bit old style but very clean and the bed was comfortable!

Tokushima is considered small town, not too busy, lots of good food and reachable within walking distance, accessible by ferry, airplane, train and bus. I visited Tokushima on a regular basis every year, took all of the option, but the best perhaps taking ferry to Wakayama...

It's in a super convenient location that's close enough to the JR station, without all the noise. I was really glad to have the washer/dryer and fully equipped kitchen. The bed is quite big and there are plenty of plugs for charging your devices. Although it took a bit to set up, the smart projector was great for watching Netflix and relaxing after a day of whizzing around Tokushima. The host is very responsive and helpful. If you have the time, I recommend the Naruto tour.

Central location in Tokushima city, right next to the train station. Hotel is moderate sized with adequate restaurants and is linked by a passageway to the shopping mall adjacent. Complimentary water is provided in the rooms. The UCC Drip Coffee is palatable. Bathrooms are decent sized and have most amenities.
