Great location, 5 min walk to inter city bus terminal and express bus terminal with bus that goes directly to Gimhae international airport in Busan. Convenient stores, cafes, and some restaurants in the immediate area. The hotel is new and clean, family-friendly. We came in winter, and the bathroom shower has very hot water too. Great help from the staff.

Overlooking scenic Bomun Lake, the luxurious Hilton Gyeongju is located within Bomun Tourist Complex in historical Gyeongju. Located outside the city, on a lake, in a vacation area. Room recently updated. We stayed facing the lake. Very peaceful after leaving Seoul. There are balcony rooms and, as we did not know in advance, did not book one. Taxi is required to visit sites, but not expensive. Ask at concierge for restaurant recommendations outside hotel. We also ate at the hotel Chinese restaurant, very good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with both western and Korean. This is by far the best hotel in the area.

I didn’t know what to expect from this trip but I have to say that we were so pleased with all the historical sights and the cleanliness of the city exceeded our expectations. I would love to go back in the summer.
I wish I could spend at least 3 more nights in Gyeongju - there are so many other places that I would love to go! As a history nerd, Gyeongju has full of historical treasures and I really enjoyed to stay.
It is truly an open air museum. Very historic and enchanting. Love the laidback atmosphere and the traditional architecture of the city. One of the highly recommended destination to be visited on your trip to South Korea.
The whole city is a museum. However, the city should invest more on audio-visual presentations of relevent history at these sites. Just looking at structures doesnt help understand the rich history. Be prepared to walk a lot. 1000 years of history is spread out all over the city. The road leading to Empress Seonduk tomb was so narrow the taxi driver was struggling. Also insufficient historical facts presented at the site. Just a 200 word summary of a qreat leader on a metal sign board.
Gyeongju is considered a small town, but it really has lots to offer. There's are lots of historical areas to see, most accessible by city bus for just over $1 to use. There is a good selection of food there, plus rental bikes which we really liked in order to get away from the center out to rice paddies and the country side. We also rode to the Namsam mountain area and took a few hikes. Be sure to get locks with your bikes and you can get a helmet too if you ask. We loved the history museum, and even ate like the locals there at the on site 7-11. The people at 7-11 helped used figure out which ramen dish to buy and how much hot water to add.
So many things to see, do and eat in this ancient city. Saturday/Sunday visit - busiest on Sunday. Nice that it’s so walkable. Bikes, Scooters and electric carts available for rent also make it easy for families to get around. Arranged a tour from Busan to Gyeongju which was wonderful as we were able to see all the UNESCO sites, have them explained and also learn more about Korean culture in general.

Right next to the tombs! The owner speaks only a little English, but he was very accommodating. He upgraded us to a room with a view for free! He also gave us maps and told us where to find foreign food, Korean food, the bus stops, and all sorts of useful information. There were coffee machines and other functional food facilities. The bathroom and shower was clean and functional, although the hot water did not always last very long. The room was warm in February, the WiFi worked well, and it was overall a comfortable experience.

Our room was really nice and clean. We even had a second room with a whole kitchen just for us. It was just around the corner of some of Gyeongjus main attractions, located in the peaceful old part of town. But what made our stay truly special was the host: She prepared a different breakfast (French, Korean, ...) everyday at 8:30 to invite all her guests into her tea room. She offered my girlfriend to try a traditional Korean dress and was the kindest lady you could imagine. Thanks for the great time we‘ve had at Namuae!

Lovely rural location, peaceful, quiet and scenic and close to everything. Mr Jeon drove us the few minutes to the local bus stop adjacent to Bomun Lake every day and also picked us up there. He also picked us up at the inter-city bus terminal when we arrived. Kind and generous hospitality. Our room was clean, well-appointed and comfortable with a lovely enclosed deck. Breakfast, including a wonderful Korean breakfast, was served to us in the main house. We loved our stay here for our five nights.

You have to live this experience when you visit South Korea. Sleep in Hanok is a nice adventure for european people and Nadul Hanok is the best option. It was clean, the staff is really friendly and the best is that they take the breakfast to your hanok. Breakfast is really good! Fruit, coffee, boiled eggs and typical Korean biscuits. I loved it. Kind regards from Spain :-)

Every bed has a curtain so you feel a bit of privacy. The facility and atmosphere was really nice, people were sitting in the common area and talking, but it's not a party guesthouse so noone made any noise in the night. Santa is a funny guy and he makes everyone's stay as much comfortable as possible.

We felt really welcome in the hanok. The owner was really nice and friendly. We can only thank her for all her good information and mostly for the full breakfast (Korean & American style) she made us ! The hanok is close to all historical sites in Gyeongju. It was very practical.

The location was great, just a stone's throw from the Jungang Market, which provides local cuisine both day & night, plus options to shop for local farm produces. The famous HongLi Korean restaurant is also in the neighbourhood. They provides free cans of fruit juices in the fridge as well as a nice coffee machine in the lobby.

The hotel was far better than I expected as I had read some negative reviews, mostly that it needed updating and was a little dingy. We were on the 9th floor which had been refurbished and was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a large selection of food available.
