Very accommodating couple runs the Hotel, they upgraded me without extra charges to make me stay in the room closer to the room of my sister; they were arranging the taxi drivers as per our requests; advising us for the places to see; Their kitchen is very clean, you better eat at this hotel than somewhere outside

We had a great one-night stay at Hotel Athina during our biking trip around Sri Lanka. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had a mosquito net. The owner and his wife are super friendly and lovely to talk to! The highlight was the breakfast, where we were treated with local delicacies and plenty of fresh fruits. Would recommend 100% 🙏

This was the first time traveling to Chilaw and I was able to create an unforgettable experience with this place. It is a beautiful location with very friendly host. even though the area had recently been affected by floods, all the necessary facilities were available without any shortcomings. We loved the tranquil garden, beautiful modern clean architectural “A” frame guest house and separate dining pavilion. Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly. Dinner and breakfast were exquisite Sri Lankan cuisine. The plunge pool was welcome to cool in before dinner and breakfast. Comfiest beds and pillows in Sri Lanka! We will come again!

Super nice spot. Mich cooler than even expected. Beautiful A frame cabin type large rooms with lots of amenities on a beautiful property. They have a great breakfast and two fruit juices all on the house.
