Comfy and spacious rooms. Food at the restaurant was well prepared and varied, which is good as the place is quiet isolated. Nice pool area to relax around. Staff were attentive, not over bearing. Friendly and accommodating to requests. Half hour to the national park, we did a safari organised through the hotel. They provided us with cold water and some biscuits for the morning.

The staff led by owner Nero were friendly and welcoming. As we were the only booking on that day we were upgraded to the tree house - and the views from there were to die for. We had dinner by campfire and breakfast in the open, all arranged by their team. Nero also took us on a bush walk in the morning. Would go back for that hospitality alone.

This is an amazing experience not to be missed if you are the adventurous type, but still like creature comforts. There are only 6 cabins in a wonderland setting near the Park. A nice pool for dipping in after your safari is great. But the highlight is the staff. From Nissantha, Sumudu and ALL the staff you will get a warm welcome and friendly service. Their passion for the environment is wonderful and as a bonus, the food is excellent traditional Sri Lankan. This was one of the biggest pleasant surprises on our trip. We will be back and highly recommend it if visiting Yala Park!

Everything was exceptional. The room was unlike any other hotel in recent memory. Equipped with top tier tech and unrivaled design. The food and chef were exceptional. The service was outstanding. The location was unique and exciting. The staff including manger were very accommodating of requests and the spa was also top notch.

This place is amazing.

This place is amazing. We stay with our 3 young kids and the staff were so kind and attentive. All of the small details have been thought of and it’s a wonderful experience in nature. Lovely local Sri Lankan are served for each meal.

It definitely is an experience worth trying.

It definitely is an experience worth trying. The tree house has all the comforts you need but yet kept on the simple side. Don't expect much and you will get a lot. Nice food Bbq and big fire lit for you in the evening to give you a chance to relax and talk about your day activities. It was great to be left alone and the silence of the night. There were times you just felt that we were the only ones there and when you needed something the staff would magically appear

too many jeeps roaming around. 50% of the time we were searching for animals. at some occasions long long jams of jeeps trying to observe leopards and bears the park is beutiful but * jeeps number should be limited * we didnt see a leopard, saw elephants only once, saw a bear briefly only once - for 6 hours in the park we were disappointed

We visited Yala for two days (with two separate game drives...

We visited Yala for two days (with two separate game drives - one evening and one morning one) and although we enjoyed the animals we observed, we did not have any sightings of leopards despite being the national park with the highest concentration in the world. But that is nature so we were just unlucky on those days. However, the most disappointing aspect of Yala was the sheer number of vehicles allowed into the park at one time. As soon as elephants or leopards are sighted, drivers communicate among themselves and vehicles all rush to the scene creating a massive traffic jams. This makes it feel very mass market and doesn’t seem very respectful of the wildlife

Terrible time. No wild animals as expected. Roads are all around the jungle which is pretty disturbing to the wild life. After all it is supposed to be a protected zone for wild life. Jeeps are crawling every corner of the territory. Amused to see all of that disturbing scenes in a wild life protected zone. It's like business zone. Poor animals.

I loved Yala.

I loved Yala. The number of different animals seen was slightly disappointing but apparently wash outs due to rain prevented us from accessing some internal roads. The sunrise and scenery were stunning. I would rate it as good value despite the lack of animals. The whole experience was wonderful.

I had a wonderful experience at Tribe. Every staff member I encountered, from the head of F&B Bandara, Akram Hasha to our ranger dinesh and the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Food was exceptional and fitted in our requests promptly. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Yala.

We stayed at this wonderful hotel after our safari in Yala National Park. Everything about it was excellent from the beautiful spacious room to the kind, attentive staff, to the gorgeous food to the pool & sports facilities. Thank you to the wild culture team for making our stay in Yala so memorable. We loved this hotel and would highly recommend it!

We were looked after very well by all staff and the room was well kept. The swimming pool was a good size. It is very close to Yala National Park and the hotel arranged our safaris there which were excellent.
