A lovely location that I was only too briefly staying at. I didn't even realize how close it was to so many trails! Genuinely you can walk to them but you're still in the center of a town. If only I had been there longer - the restaurant and patio out front was absolutely packed and the food looked incredible. It was such a good vibe and it made me wish I wasn't just stopping for a night on my road trip. There was also parking very easy to find - even though the lot next to them was full, I drove a minute down the road and found a large free lot very easily.

The hotel was very clean and our room had been recently renovated. We had a room overlooking the forest. The shower was very clean with beautiful tiles and there was plenty of hot water. The staff were so friendly and very helpful especially when we missed our bus to the airport. A shuttle minibus was very quickly available and we made our flight. The veranda was a lovely place to sit in the evening for a meal and drinks.

The mobile home was very clean on arrival. It was very well equipped. The check in, check out process very fast and easy. Very close to the hiking trails, and located in a very nice environment. The staff were friendly and very eager to help.

On our cycling trip through Luxembourg we found this gem of...

On our cycling trip through Luxembourg we found this gem of a place to stay, a short distance from Echternach, which was one of our destinations. We had a nice, quiet stay in this beautiful quaint place. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and her English really good, so communication was easy. The food at the restaurant was delicious, truly a great dining experience. Having a drink in the beautiful adjacent garden was a pleasure as well, after a long day's ride. All-in-all a wonderful place I'd advice to anyone.

The owner is a very courteous lady who showed us the two available rooms and we choice the larger one being more comfortable and overlooking the garden.everything is clean and the room is spacious - so good to relax after our long drive! And we had dinner at the hotel and our meal was perfectly served and equivalent to a Michelin star restaurant!

Lovely owners of this family owned hotel. The walk along the river to the nearest town was very nice. Echternach is a very nice small town. Lovely square etc. The evening meal in the restaurant was outstanding for the price. Nice to sit outside the front of the hotel with a drink. Would definitely recommend.

We have been staying at Hotel Gruber most years for the last 10 years. Other hotels we have only visited once. Hotel Gruber is very pleasant wth nice rooms, good restaurant,ample parking, nice garden in a pleasant village location.
