Our stay at Silarozes in Mālpils was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a peaceful countryside retreat with every comfort thoughtfully provided. The home is incredibly spacious, beautifully maintained & decorated, = perfect for larger groups or families. With five comfortable bedrooms, generous common areas, and two bathrooms, everyone had plenty of space to relax. One of the highlights was the stunning outdoor setting — the garden area with fire pit, terrace overlooking the pond were perfect for morning coffee, evening dinners, and simply enjoying the quiet Latvian countryside. The hot tub and sauna, with a large pond for a cool swim, made the experience feel luxurious and relaxing, especially after a day of exploring nearby attractions like Turaida Castle and Riga. The house itself is both cozy and functional, with excellent amenities including air conditioning, reliable WiFi, a dining area, coal barbecue facilities, and even work-friendly spaces. Every detail felt carefully considered to make guests feel at home. What truly made Silarozes stand out was the atmosphere: peaceful, welcoming, and ideal for reconnecting with family and friends. It combines the charm of rural Latvia with modern comfort in a way that is hard to find. The house is super comfortable and cosy, with all amenities and we appreciated the high level of cleanliness. You can really tell that the owners put a lot of heart and thought into creating this magical place. It has a great view of the lake and a private sand beach. It was a peaceful and calm stay. What we loved the most was the presence of the birds; we went to sleep and woke up with the sound of a bird concert. The owners were away, but they were very helpful in giving directions on how to get the keys. We did not use the sauna or the boat, but both looked in great shape. To sum it up, it was wonderful!

We were upgraded to a bungalow and it was gorgeous! Everything looked new and it was a very peaceful one night stay. Breakfast was wonderful. It wasn't included in the booking but we were able to pay separately when we arrived. It was a short walk to the cable car, places to eat, walking stick park, Sigulda New Castle and the Castle of the Livonian Order. It was only a twenty minute walk to the the bobsleigh track, but we drove there on our way out of town because it was a hot day and there was a lot of walking at the track if you wanted to walk alongside it. It was a perfect stay and I wish we were there longer. I would definitely recommend Villa Vanilla!
