Our stay at Maison d'Hôte La Roche Noire was nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled in the Fint Oasis, this hidden gem is reached after a scenic drive through the mountainous desert surrounding Ouarzazate. A narrow road leads you to this oasis, a lush green haven that feels like a world away. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Rashid, who welcomed us with traditional tea shared alongside his delightful family. The hospitality extended beyond our expectations. We had the privilege of dining in the main building, complete with a fireplace and various musical instruments, as the owners themselves are musicians. It added a unique touch to our evening. Breakfast was a generous spread, and we were treated to the fascinating sight of bread being baked in the facility's traditional oven in the morning. Following Rashid's recommendation, we explored the oasis in the morning, following the stream that runs through the entire village. It offered a glimpse into the diverse agricultural and work activities of the community. Our room, situated in a small riad, was spacious and provided a comfortable retreat. The attention to detail in both the accommodations and the overall experience was evident. Maison d'Hôte La Roche Noire is not just a place to stay; it's a captivating journey into the heart of the Fint Oasis, where nature, tradition, and warm hospitality converge. Rashid and his family made our stay unforgettable, and we look forward to returning to this tranquil retreat in the future.

This is a wonderful accommodation if you like to be in a peaceful and quiet place. Everything is wel arranged, the beds are super comfortable and the staff is super friendly. The home made harrira was probably one of the best I ever ate!

I arrived in the evening, originally planning to stay for just one day, but ended up extending my stay for four days. The hotel is very clean, and everything is brand new. Although it is located by the roadside, it is very quiet at night. The location is excellent, with a taxi stand right downstairs and a local market and shops not far away. The hotel reception staff are very friendly and would ask every day if I was doing well or needed any help. I highly recommend this place to backpackers heading to Ouarzazate.

This is my first carefully written review on Booking, dedicated to the most satisfying hotel I stayed at during my one-week trip in Morocco! The hotel's environment exceeded expectations completely: artistic decorations, clean and tidy rooms, and blooming flowers on the rooftop terrace - everything was just too wonderful! What's more, the staff here are extremely enthusiastic and friendly. The boss would tell us his interesting stories and everything about this city, and also took beautiful photos for us.
