Hotel Soleil Imlil is located in the centre of Imlil village in the Atlas Mountains, just on the edge of Toubkal National Park. Thank you for EVERYTHING! The Hotel is really nice with a Big garden/terrace. The Tajine was really good. Thank you Khalid for explaining so much about history, culture and traditions of imlil and Berber - it was so interesting!!! Could recommend the Hotel to the fullest! Alex and Paul
Offering a restaurant, Hotel Armed is located in Imlil. Rooms here will provide you with a balcony. Private bathrooms also come with a bath or shower. 486/5000 The beds were comfortable, the food was good. The owner was very willing. We could choose how many people would sleep in which room. Unfortunately, the taxi from Menara Airport in Marrakech can not go up to the hotel, which is about 45 minutes' walk to Imlin. The next day we went to Jbel Toubkal 4167m and we could leave unnecessary things at the hotel.

Excellent location, excellent room, very helpful and adorable host, the evening tajin was the best we had in morocco! Rashid arranged us an excellent guide to walk around in the valley The view is breathtaking ! I recommand this location 100%.
Beatiful place to hike around and get into nature, away from the craziness of Marrakech. It was easy to hike into the hills surrounding the village, up to 2700 meters. Don't trust the first people to approach you for tours to Toubkal.... It should cost a total of 500- 600 dh for guide (split 5 ways, it is only 100dh) and the Refuge costs 280dh including dinner. You may need to rent other equipment such as crampons, etc. We didn't climb Toubkal because a guide was obligatory 🙁 Enjoy this beautiful place. I recommend chez les Berberes.
I love this place. It’s like another world away from stress and pressure. Totally relaxed. I stayed at a lovely place called Le Village De Toubkal and spent most of my time on the balcony relaxing and admiring the breath taking scenery.
We absolutley loved it here, our stay, food the excursions, people, environmental friendly and safe too. What more could you ask for, the views were breathtaking, from bedroom and rooftop terrace, so beautiful decorated, staff are soo kind and caring, Mustapha was an absolute Gem! He made we were ok and reassured us throughout our stay if we were ok, if any requests we had in mind he would make it happen to whatever he could within region. It was wonderful experience and would highly highly recommend to others. The only thing i would mention is bring jumpers and a jacket if coming in Jan till end of Feb time on what clothes you may need because it gets very cold in the evening througout the night thats only if your out and for early morning excursions. But overall cant complain..
The village has a perfect position at the foot of Atlas mountains. We could spend only 1 day there but locals recommended us a great hike to a summit over Tizi Mizik mountain pass which was just a proper terrain for a December hike, right below a snow line. We hope we can come for a longer stay in the future.
Beautiful village location. Two ways to get around in Imlil : on foot or on a mule. We did not try the mule option. This destination is suited to people who enjoy walking/scenery and the outdoors. This destination is not suited to those with mobility difficulties, health issues. Not well suited to pushchairs. There is a waterfall about 30 mins walk away which is suitable for those with only moderate fitness and for children. Cars can only go on the main roads - there are steep and narrow tracks, even staircases to reach everything else in the village. Come here for charm, a change from your everyday life. Do not expect everything to match western European standards of comfort. Enjoy the food. Late October the nights are getting cold, so bring warm clothes for the evenings.
The best stay in Morocco so far. The house and the rooms were very tidy and clean - also they look even better in real than on the pics. Our host Mohammed was such a lovely person and took great care of us! We arrived quite late (22:00) and Mohammed still served us some tea and afterwards great Moroccan salad and soup, which was amazing! Honestly it felt like paradise for us. He helped us with everything, especially with the hiking tour to Mount Toubkal. If we come back to Imlil this is the place we will stay for sure. 10 points!!!
Everything was amazing, beds are super comfortable and food was great! So huge portions. Some here wrote that the hike for the Riad is bit long - if you mind you can stay in the centre of Imlil, but trust me, few meters of hill and you will be rewarded with great view, actually one of the best, as most of The hotels in Imlil were lower in the centre and one couldn’t see much. They can also arrange transport, just ask. This is one of the best places I stayed over in my life (and i travel a lot).
We liked everything. The manager was very welcoming, explained us where to start our hike without trying to sell anything we didn't ask for. We could leave our car for the hike at the hotels parking spot. We were very happy to check in a second time a few days later after returning from our hike. Very very good stay. And a luxurious bathroom. Very nice after two days in the cold.
Showers with pressured hot water. I've been to too many trekking lodges, tea houses, mountain hotels, however this particular place was just too good for a local run casual trekkers lodge. Our room had a great balcony with a view. Comfy beds and pillows. There are large areas in the terrace for hanging out. Dinners were excellent and overall quite fairly priced.
Dar Atlas is small and happy place above Imlil, in a village not far from it. The hosts were really kind and their family is great :) We loved the ambient, comfy living room and the food was absolutely delicious. We recommend it to everyone who wishes to escape touristy towns and loves the mountains. The view is amazing!
Upon arrival a lovely man can with a donkey to get our luggage and we walked about 15 mins to the hotel. There is also access by car, but this was way more fun! The rooms were large and nicely decorated. The dinner and breakfast were simple and very good. Staff was very helpful and kind. The view was breathtaking!
Good and friendly place to stay in imlil. Nice guesthouse with good room. Hot shower and heading in the room. Very good breakfast and good Tajine. The cook made us great food. Everything was good. Atlas imoula is a little outside the village but no problem because the village isn’t big. Thank you.
There is a big terrace with 300 degree mountain view. It's catching the sunshine from sunrise to sunset. The hotel is very spacious and the toilets and showers are very clean. Good hot water pressure. In general I found the standard in Tamterte much higher than in Imlil or Aroumd.
Rachid and his brother Brahim were very kind to us. Definitely the best hosts we had in Morocco (we traveled around whole country and tried10 different hotels/riads). Dinner was also great :) We felt comfortable and happy.
The hospitality of the owner, cleanliness, location (need to hike for 20 to 30 minutes from town thru the valley to reach the hotel), superb view of mountain and villages, and delicious local foods for in-house dining.
The space, location, lives the Imlil touch right into the room, supported with a great staff. The food was great and my special thanks to the Chef for his care and efforts to satisfy the customer’s needs.
Hamid and the staff were very helpful, especially information about hiking day trips from the far. The food is excellent. The location overlooking Imlil is great. Very good access to the hiking trails.
Ahmed was a really nice and friendly host. He gave us lots of tips about hiking around Imlil. His wife prepared a great lamb tajine for us. Best we've had during all our trip in Morocco!
Very nice, helpful, honest people. Charming village, beautiful walk to centre of Imlil and then easy way to Toubkal. :) Beautiful, traditional house with the best view. Strongly recommend it!
Every thing is perfect. Our favorite place in Morocco. The view is magnificent and the place itself is amazing. DO NOT SKIP A MEAL!! ITS THE BEST FOOD!!
Very nice family running the dar. Great view from the room and the terrace. The bathroom was clean and had everything needed.
Great view of Imlil valley. Wonderful hosts. Delicious dinner and breakfast.
Dinner and breakfast were amazing. The staff were so lovely and helpful. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay.
The facilities are great.... large room with balcony, terrace with a view of the surroundings to die for!!! and has a large pool with a view. The Riad is set back from the road so is quiet. Good food and owner is very service oriented.....when I asked for a coke and he did not have one. He sent one of his staff to fetch me one.....will organize a guide for a hike or trek for you. We had our own guide. They kindly offered him in for tea as he was waiting for us to finish breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay.
We came from the mountains (Mount Toubkal) and we were amazed by the place. It felt like staying in a first-class Berber house. Because we did not have any electricity in our room, just candles and a fireplace, it felt very romantic and unexpected. The living room upstairs was very warm because of the fireplace and all the candles. It felt very cosy and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are different rooms with electricity and light available. We can really recommend the Duar Samra!
