We spent a whole month traveling around Madagascar, with various experiences and accommodations, and the Zen hotel in Hell Vllle on Nosy Be was the best we experienced. Brand new, elegant, pleasantly chilled at a very good European level. Good location, with accessible communication, a nice cafe nearby, a nice promenade above the harbor with balustrades from the good old colonial times. We were sorry to have to leave this hotel and hopefully we will return there again someday. 😊 The staff is very pleasant and helpful.!😊

Great little place. Rare to have a pool in Hellville !

The place is spotlessly clean. The staff are lovely. Mathieu was so helpful and attentive arranging tours and taxis and Tuk tuks and airport pick up and drop offs.

The pool was very large and clean

The team here were so, so lovely! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast each morning was delightful. The room was well equipped, including with mosquito nets etc as appropriate for the season. The outlook was delightful; it was lovely to be surrounded by greenery when we weren't venturing out to the beach or shops. We had a couple of very minor power outages (to be expected and unavoidable - usually under 1 minute without power).

The staff, pool, always hot water and electricity, decent WIFI. I've been to other hotels in Nosy be, beach front and mo4e expensive hotels but honestly I feel the most welcome at Clair de Lune. Special Thank you to Felicity anr Lido.

An amazing resort with the friendliest and most service minded personell. Massage was amazing, everything so clean, food so good!

Hot water in shower, little veranda with cool recycling deck chairs (cool decor in general), a/c included (good for keeping mosquitoes away), small pool, and restaurant on the premises. The beach can be reach on foot in 5 minutes.

This place is a hidden gem 💎 Out of the buzzing hell ville area and close to Lokobe national park, this place offers all you need if you're looking to connect with nature. Upon arriving we didn't know that this was a hospitality school, but the staff was so nice and attentive, which made our stay even better. Thanks for having us, I'll be back for sure!

Very polite staff. They arrenge my trips to nearby islands and help me where to get sim card. If have any problems they always help me. Staff can speak good english

I had two different rooms while I was there (2nd & 3rd floors) and the view from both rooms was amazing. The property is very close to the beach and shops. The staff were lovely and patient. The water was always hot. Both rooms had comfortable beds and the balconies were both spacious. I read in other reviews about the power cuts but the ones I noticed were only for a couple of minutes at most and didn't affect me at all. The lady at reception had told me that the WiFi may only be available in the reception area but to my surprise, the room on the second floor had WiFi for most of the time but the third floor room didn't have it as much. If I did need it, I just needed to go into the hallway or the stairwell which was fine for me. I could see that they had placed WiFi repeaters on every floor so they had done everything they could. The hotel was still being built so on clear days, there was work being carried out but this was only for a short amount of time and never in the evening. I didn't really notice it most of the time as I was out. I had everything I needed to have a relaxing and comfortable stay. The hotel definitely exceeded my expectations due to the negative reviews that had been left. Thanks very much for a lovely stay.

Brand new apartment with western standards! Despite the very central location, just meters from the entertainment center of Nosy Be, the apartment is quiet: the builder did a great job with isolation. Air condition and ceiling ventilator are efficient and don't make any noise. As a result, no need to open the windows, less moskitos. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! Bedding was very comfortable. Comparatively very high standards.

Great place right on the beach Good restaurant nice staff.Fantadtic sunset comphortable bed I am coming back

Tv did not work but u do not need it there, very nice place clean swimming pool, nice people, near the beach and the center of nightlife

Amazing location, beautiful view, comfortable rooms and friendly staff

I had a wonderful stay at Coucher de Soleil. The place is clean and situated at an excellent location. The view from the terrace is very beautiful, particularly in the morning. The best past was the professionalism and kindness of the manager, Sébastien, who made my stay very pleasant and comfortable. He was a superb host, giving information and support whenever needed.

A family run hotel in the prime spot in Ambatolaka. Close to the beach local bars and shops. A nice clean room and balcony overlooking a lush botanical garden created by Benjamin to show some of the beautiful and exotic plants of madagascar. Benjamin the owner is very kind and likes to spread awareness of madagascara ecology. Tina, the manager, is an absolute star. Her local knowledge is priceless, and she helped me so much with everything from trips to food to what prices are. Everything I needed, she helped every step of the way. Perfect for a lone woman traveller to have this angel helping and supporting!!

Me and my friends stayed at Hôtel Fitiavana for 2 weeks, and I had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. The staff and management are exceptionally friendly, warm and hospitable. They are always ready to help with any question or request and genuinely care about their guests. The rooms are one of the highlights of the hotel. They are very spacious, bright and beautifully finished with a modern design. The large, comfortable beds and high-quality bedding made for excellent sleep throughout my stay. I especially enjoyed having a large balcony/terrace with a beautiful sea view. It was the perfect place to relax and watch the spectacular sunsets. The hotel is also very clean and well maintained. The swimming pool is a lovely place to relax, and the atmosphere throughout the property is peaceful and welcoming. The location is very convenient for exploring the area, with the beaches, restaurants and the lively part of Ambatoloaka within easy reach. I would especially like to highlight the hotel staff. Their kindness, hospitality and willingness to help made our 14-day stay feel comfortable and genuinely enjoyable. I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Nosy Be and would definitely recommend Hôtel Fitiavana to anyone looking for a comfortable, modern and welcoming place to stay.

Excellent new hotel in great location near the beach and main bar/restaurant street but still quiet. Nice rooms, helpful staff and good breakfast
