The location of this hotel is pure paradise. The island is incredibly beautiful, and the hotel’s facilities are excellent. It’s truly a perfect place to relax and connect with nature. Moreover, the manager, Elena, is amazing, and her entire team makes you feel truly special

The Litchi Tree is just an incredible place and Hervé is an amazing host and cook. Sadly, we we only able to spend one night here, but we enjoyed it to the fullest.

This place is amazing! The view, the nature around and the smell... It smells like paradise, all the time. Our bungalow was very comfortable and perfectly located, overlooking the sea, orchid trees, albicias... - sometimes you don't even know what to look at, because it's all magnificent. The owners were very kind, easy to talk to and always helpful. Same as the stuff - super nice and patient, even when you're a terribly picky eater like me :) Great spot for snorkeling with many others just 15 minutes by boat. Something I didn't know befour our arrival, is that the diving center can pick you up directly from the hotel! So don't hesitate to chose this remote yet very well communicated piece of heaven :)

This place is heaven. I wish we could have stayed more than one night. Our bungalow was amazing. We loved everything! During our 3 weeks travel through Madagascar, this place was among the top 3 best places we've slept.

Amazing location, very good breakfast

Before arrival Valerie the owner assisted us with all our transfers ensuring everything ran smoothly. Upon arrival our bags were carried up for us and we were greeted with warm smiles and deliciously cold welcome drinks. Treated like rock stars. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our bed was beautifully decorated with flowers and a heart shaped towel for our honeymoon. There were even hot showers (not that you need them) but after a week of cold showers it was very pleasant. The food was amazing and overall very good value for money. The Happy Komba team went above and beyond for us. I see why Valerie named it Happy Komba lodge as the staff are all very happy with big smiles always. We will definitely be back.

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the host, Cloude, whose professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail truly elevated the experience. He goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel comfortable and cared for. The location is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet, far from the crowds. It’s an ideal retreat to unwind and reconnect with nature. The property is located right by the ocean, offering breathtaking views, especially during sunset. The pool is cool , provides a great alternative to the beach, which is just steps away. Another bonus is the convenient shop just across the street, where you can find everything from local Madagascar rum to champagne – perfect for any occasion. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic experience in Madagascar. And... – all thanks to the talented chef! Every dish was crafted with great care, beautifully presented, and full of rich, balanced flavors. 🩷

Everything was excellent. The hotel is beautifully located, very clean, and extremely well maintained. The atmosphere is relaxing and the whole place feels like a little paradise. What really stood out was the incredible service – the staff were always friendly, helpful, and professional. We even received a free upgrade to a bigger and more beautiful room without any extra cost, which was a very generous and appreciated gesture. This made our stay even more special. Truly outstanding hospitality.

The people working there were super nice! Very helpful and always smiling! Food was also very good. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere with a fireplace which was amazing for the slightly cold nights we had when we were there. Morning wake up with the sounds of nature, outside our bedroom window there was a choir of birds which gave us the best morning wake up. Laundry service was also great! Fast, and perfectly done with a great fresh smell! We stayed there to visit Ranomafana National Park, which was about an hour drive to reach it.
