Perfect place to visit even in November! Great catholic place with awesome history, tradition and cuisine. Sea is very clean and the warm air makes you feel like summer every moment. A little expensive maybe.
A superb place to stay for culture and history in a safe city with a chilled and relaxed vibe. A photo opportunity round every corner and great public transport links. Not a great place if you have mobility problems though as there are a lot of steps and steep walks. Lots of restaurants, bars and plenty of cuisine choice.
Old Town is very cool and has a good vibe. A lot of places are closed right now so make sure to check before you go anywhere on the island!! Easy to get around, lots of buses and ferries. People are very friendly and helpful. Masks are worn in every shop and even on the boat. Definitely would take day trips to the blue lagoon and Mdina. Swimming was best at the blue lagoon and ghar lapsi.
Valletta is a beautiful city, small and compact enough to get around easily on foot, with plenty of things to see. We liked the Knight Hospitallers' exhibition in the Mediterranean Conference Centre with a virtual app, and great views of the harbour. There are many other places to see, and it is lovely to walk around, go to the gardens, sit down and enjoy coffee, or lunch or an evening meal. The seafront is worth going down to, and make sure you walk along some of the other streets apart from the main one.
Valletta is a unique, medieval, knights' city. It has character and is worht a visit. I felt safe throughout the trip and enjoyed it very much. Also the rest of the country has a lot to offer, if one decides to venture around.
Valletta is one of the most astonishing small gems as the capital of Malta. Simply beautiful, charming, well equipped with fantastic restaurants and opportunities. It is definitely a place to go once the world will travel again. Museums, wonderful views, relaxed people, language skills, cultural events, all is there. The airport is not far, the weather is mostly good. The blue of the sea is overwhelming.

Really good experience after 3 nights at Rosselli. Location is good. The staff was extremely nice and professional at all times. Lovely interior design, especially the main hall. The food in hotel restaurant was exceptional! Hotel description and pictures are accurate. Facilities were also impressive - nice rooftop terrace at the 4th floor, with comfortable sofas and a tiny swimming pool (more appropriate for just sitting in than swimming due to size :)) I can highly recommend the stay at Rosselli. In the end, the pricing was quite competitive too - hotel was booked with 3-week's notice and was only few euros more expensive than 4* or some even 3* hotels available at that time.
Valletta
The location is absolute best. Paradise in Valletta. The rooms are comfortable & charming. The staff was Gracious, especially Josette ( gal who checked us in.. not sure of her name. This was our second stay @ this Boutique & we were so pleased once again. The only drawback that someone might not like is it is in the middle of town & can be a bit noisy. But that is why we stay there...always some awesome event going on. Thanks for another excellent stay. Should be back in another 2 years. It’s a bit of a travel from California. So much to see & do in Malta
