Basically a work site. Would have been ok if they notified me beforehand about it. To their credit, they did move me away from the constant noise after i asked for another room. Dangerous live power lines in the pedestrian pathway. No wifi, only at reception.

Wonderful location, really engaged hosts, tasty food, nice sunset cruise, great fish eagle feeding and snorkeling trip, free cayak rental, Lake Malawi at its best.

We stayed at Kulenga after a long trip on the Ilala ferry. The staff are super friendly, bed was comfy, the place very peaceful and the shakshuka breakfast really delicious!
