Vintage (retro) property. Built in 30s of the 20th century. Showing all the vibe preserved from different eras of Mexico history... at least for the last 90 years. COOL and Majestic. Spacios rooms and facilities (built according to ancient standards ) that are not seen in more modern properties around the world. Just cool place place if you want to get a glimpse of what Mexico looked like around 100 years ago.... HIGHLY recommended!!!!

Staff very knowledge about the area and town

Perfect location: very quiet at night, residential area, yet barely 5 min walk to the center of downtown. Colectivo van pickup spot just 2 min away, for all local transport. Comfy bed: mattress not too hard, warm fluffy blanket, great pillows. Plentiful hot water!! Secure, easy off-street parking. Perfectly clean and everything worked. Modern, spacious room. Friendly, helpful staff.

The hotel has an amazing view and an even more amazing staff. From the reservation moment to the check-out, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. I felt welcome and cared for during my stay. The owner, Señor Alfonso, is thoughtful and was very kind to help me with every request I had. The room is spacious and the shower is great. Cleaning is also 10/10. I would definitely go back.

Location was hard to find even for the taxi drivers. But no traffic, no noise. Only 1 block from main market and 4 blocks from the central plaza and high-end hotels/resturants.

Nice area, easy to walk everywhere. Also it was very quiet at night.

Everything was clean. Staff was very kind. The property is very close to downtown.

Very pleasant and helpful owner. A good starting point for a trip to the Paricutin volcano. Parking opposite the hotel. In centre of town.

I liked the attitude of the staff and the owner. Altough the original room they provided was far below standards, they went far beyond the line of duty to provide us with a room at a different location, this time a great room.

Really good location. Staff very helpful. We flooded our room because we didn't unplug shower drain. Put all our bags (heavy) on the bed. When we got back the bed had been made! Great service
