The service is excellent. The staff are so warm and could not do enough for you. Our kids loved the water park on site. The food was really good with lots of options. We had a one bed suite for a family of 5 and it was the best laid out room we’ve ever stayed as a family. So spacious.

For us its all about the people, we found the Mexicans full of humour, willing to help a stranger and thoroughly pleasant. Cancun holiday strip was created in the1960's and is home to a gazillion hotels and expensive tourist restaurants, the town however is wonderful. The bus system is superb, a 50p fare anywhere on the route. As a tip find a big landmark near your hotel and ask the driver to tell you when you are approaching, they will help you. The beaches are not owned by the hotels, and suffer from seaweed, but this is usually disposed off. Most of the ones we swam on have a fence to prevent you swimming in deep water ( Possibly to prevent seaweed coming in ?) The sunshine in February however made it all worth while.

The room, the view, the sunrise right in front of us every morning was spectacular!!! The bedrooms were very roomy and all ensuites were perfect. There is even a 6th bathroom!!! The kitchen is well equipped although there was only a dirty sponge and 1 dish towel. We bought more sponges and j-cloths to use as the dishwasher wasn't working. The location is fabulous at the beginning of the hotel strip so quieter and basically the first on the bus so always got a seat. There is an Oxxo across the street with a good selection of products to purchase. I would definitely recommend this property to a large group!!

Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, and the beach was perfect for relaxing. The main downside is the lack of public transportation in the area — the nearest bus stop and shop are about 4 km away. We solved this easily by using Uber to get to the nearest bus stop and then continued by bus around the city. The staff at the property do not speak English, but this can easily be managed nowadays with a translation app. Tips for Cancún: Taxis from the airport are overpriced, so it’s best to arrange transportation in advance. Get a local SIM card or an eSIM with data before you arrive. When using Uber, pay through the app or in cash — never via the driver’s card terminal. Keep in mind that most locals in Cancún do not speak English.

We used CancunCab to get back and forth from the airport to the resort, great experience. GR Solaris Caribe is a nice resort that is just shy of being awesome. The bus is right on the route of the Caribe/Cancun resorts so quick public transportation you don't even have to think about. The ATV, zipline, cenote swim, and tequila tasting is a good adventure.

I was travelling on business to attend a conference. Cancún is a horrible place, the hotel area is exactly that. The city is chaotic due to the very bad planned / non-existent public transportation. Taxis will ripped you off. If the traveller wants to stay in an all inclusive, there are definitely much nicer and safer locations in Mexico to do so.

We weren’t staying in the centre of Cancun and found getting around very confusing. Even the locals didn’t seem to know the streets well. The pavements were very uneven and I fell at one point. But the locals are very friendly and welcoming.

Absolutely DO NOT recommend. 100% disappointed. Worst value for money in Cancun. Absolutely shocking breakfast. Scamming taxi services. We visit Cancun all the time for work. Would DEFINITELY NOT RETURN. AVOID UNLESS YOU WANT TO RUIN YOUR HOLIDAYS!!! DEFINITELY AVOID FOR A NIGHT BEFORE A FLIGHT. We are still waiting for our transfer to take us to the hotel, they ignored it. So we could get scammed by the taxis at the airport.

Stayed one night before starting my trip through Yucatan Peninsula. The hotel delivers what promised: a cheap accomodation close to the airport. If, like my group, you need to rest one night before picking up your car and start going around leaving Cancun then this is the right hotel for you. Otherwise it make no sense to stay here. The taxi service to/from the airport is nice and fast. Breakfast extremely basic.

Location Walk over the road to the ferry for isle mujeres. No breakfast or facilities for breakfast. The best and most clean Hotel we stayed in over 5 Weeks in Mexico. The Staff is so friendl, and especially the owner Mathias helped us so much. He even called a mexican insurance for us. We will definately stay here again when we are back in Cancun
