The beach - the sand, water and outlook - is divine. We saw turtles and a whale! Rooms are spartan (no hot water and basic plumbing) but cleaned each day and spotless. The staff are so lovely and the food at the restaurant was consistently great

A truly exceptional place if you're looking for peace and quiet! To us, the location was perfect: right on the beach, with a lovely stretch of ocean and literally no-one else around most of the time; though there are some other accommodations there, the beach still felt super private, and we mostly saw people at meal times (as Manta Raya also has the only restaurant in the immediate vicinity). Great food, with new dinner options daily, nice bar - with prices similar to upmarket restaurants in Mexican cities. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. The whole place literally shuts down at 10 PM, so you can really recuperate from the bustle of pretty much everywhere else in Mexico (though it's not far from other, livelier beaches, towns, and some attractions, and the hotel can arrange transport - we, however, felt no need to use this option throughout our short stay).

We were treated like royalty by Yvonne, Iggy, Sandra, Elli, Flora and Vladimir, and felt like friends, not customers. The view was superb. We were mesmerized with the sight and sound of the ocean surf. Our room was spacious and modern, the king-sized bed very comfortable; there was just the right amount of attractive furniture. Air conditioning if wanted, or well-fitted screen doors and windows with a constant breeze if preferred (no mosquitos anyway). The salt water pool was big enough and always warm, with no hours of closure. The shared balcony was more like a porch, with lots of room and patio furniture. The poolside, bar and restaurant were attractive, with more lovely views. The food was excellent, (the best thin-crust pizzas!) tasty and nicely presented, and they offered us off-menu items with advanced notice, like the best tamales I've ever had. There was unlimited free filtered drinking water. We were so happy we never even went to the swimming beach, just glimpsed it on on a little tour around the village. If you want a quiet, romantic place to stay away from it all, this is it!

I like the hostages very much, i like how quiet and private the cabin feels. I loved that there is hot water and a kitchen. Ooh and the most comfortable sofa !
