A very nice place in the city center with a beautiful view of the sea, quite basic but very clean, an excellent and cheap restaurant with a bar upstairs, the owner is super helpful, he gave us fast internet on a local card at a super cheap local price, really cost effective accommodation.

would like to thank both managers Hisham and Sagar...I had a little loud neighbour so they immediately offered to change my room...rooms are wide --beds and pillows very comfortable..they provide toiletries ..breakfast could be improved a little but was generous..the staff very attentive ready to comply with any request.---I hope I don't forget names..thank you Macane, Ziadym Iracelma Edso Nilton ..Luna at reception with Veronica Paula And Augusto.. the hotel is more oriented to business... its huge..and you access the beach through a door from the garden..Vilanculos does not have uninterrupted long beaches..some places have rocks... and I went in winter so not many passengers... had an excellent stay

I would suggest you bring SA Rand (a lot of it) and exchange it as you go at the shops as most card machines and ATM’s do not work then you can get stuck without cash unless you stay at Ocean Pearl Beach Lodge. They always helped us get cash when it seemed impossibleDoreen - 10

The managers of the hotel Patricia & Joao were amazing. Constantly going above and beyond for any requests I had. They welcomed me like family. The accommodation is great & clean. The food was delicious. Sometimes the service was a little slow but worth the wait. The staff are always keen & willing to do anything you request of them. These hosts are simply amazing & really look after their clients. I can highly recommend staying here short or long term

Vilankulo is geared toward tourists that are spending Dollars or Euros. All of the activities are at least $100. If you want to relax on the beach, I suggest staying out of town at one of the lodges. There are quite a few vendors on the beach in Vilankulo, and it is difficult to even go for a walk without being asked if you want to buy something.

From Tete to Vilanculos the distance is too long. The road from Inchope to Vilanculos is in bad condition… The Samara Lodge is wonderful, the rooms a good, the bar very nice… the prawn beautiful… I recommend to everyoneAlguineiroMozambique - 10
The view from our room was breathtaking, waking up to it...
The view from our room was breathtaking, waking up to it every morning was a lovely experience. The staff and owner made us feel welcome without being intrusive. The facilities were kept clean at all times and there was always someone to help us if we needed anything. Not once did we feel unsafe, as members of the LGBTQI+ community feeling safe and free is important to us. One of the best things about Villas do Indico is being a short walk away from the sea. This is place is truly paradise, I would definitely recommend a stay here.
