The facility was clean and has everything a traveler needed: clean bath, showroom, bed and I even got refrigerator, hot water pot. I have a porch where I could enjoy a cup of afternoon tea or morning coffee. The best wasn't all the above. The best was one of the temp staff there whose name was "Mr. Glass". I apologize if I spell his name wrong. I am a foreigner and don't know the area or anything well so just by coincidence I asked him about the wildlife in all different national parks since I was a bit disappointed with Etosha. Oh man, did he give me advice and suggestions. I hit jackpot!!! If you are on your way to north, stop by here and talk to Mr. Glass. You won't regret it!!!

Very peaceful accommodation. They have lots of wild life on their property. Rhinos are the highlight. They are doing amazing job protecting them. Each Rhino group has its own security guard. Room vas specious and beds were very comfortable. Food was tasty. Waterhole is close to the pool and has hideout to observe wild life. While we enjoyed by the pool we saw Kudu, Gisele, Antelope, Baboon, Warthog... We took the Rhino drive tour and we saw Giraffe, Zebra, Rhino, Kudu, Gisele, Antelope, Baboon, Warthog...

The Farm Shop was one of biggest and best surprises of our Namibian trip! This was my first visit of this place and I was wandering how it would be. And it exceeded our expectations. I must start with the owners: very nice people - they treated us as their family from the very first moment until our departure. We received home cooked dinner - big and very tasty portions. The dining hall is the main hall of the farm - it is beautifully decorated (african style), comfy sitting area, original wooden bar... We spent very nice time there together with the owner. Rooms are very simple, but the farm is still growing - new rooms are about to be built soon. Location is very pleasant for everyone visiting meteorite Hoba (25 minutes drive, gravel). Town Grootfontein is about 5 minutes drive (tarr), Etosha is about 2 hours drive (tarr). I can recommend this place for everyone: you will not be disappointed. This place will be my choice again!

Pondoki Rest Camp is located 3.7 mi outside Grootfontein on the B8 route to Rundu. It offers an outdoor pool and a restaurant.

Staff was kind and helpful. The Camp is in a strategically good place, out of the town, where we had not too nice experiences with the agressively barking men. The camp is recommended to transit passengers. Dinner was perfect.

This property was absolutely one of our favourite stops in our trip around the country. It is so uniquely an artsy, rustic boutique place to stay. The staff Geraldine, Nico and others are phenomenal, so welcoming and friendly. Our meals were delicious, the rooms cozy and comfortable. All of the metalwork art, seating areas, etc made the place a delight. It was the perfect place to stop for the night before our morning visit out to the Ju/Hoasi-San Living Museum.
